For a budget motel, this was the best hotel I stayed at on a 6,000 mile road trip across the country and back staying at countless budget motels. I arrived late and the front desk young man was very friendly, helpful and made me feel welcomed. The room was clean, spacious, very comfortable bed and good shower pressure. Close to a shopping center for food, supplies etc but have to drive to get there a few minutes. Breakfast was amazing. I usually don't eat breakfast but the waffle maker looked good that morning so enjoyed a hot breakfast. Good coffee bar, juice, and a working ice maker. Felt safe and rested the next morning to begin my road trip. Overall, a great place to stay for the price and definitely recommend!
I stay at ABVI approximately 1-2 times a month when I travel to visit my mother in a nursing home. I've stayed in room 258 multiple times with no issues. I'm letting you know that in room 258 there are bedbugs. I checked in on December 5th, 2024 & was assigned to room 258. I woke up December 6th & there was a bump on my chin. I really didn't think much about it until very early in the morning December 7th & found multiple bumps on my the back of my neck. I immediately called the front desk & he told me to come there to get a new room. I asked if the dryer worked & he said it did. He assigned be room 201 of which someone was already in. I went back to room 258 to capture one of the bugs that was in the lower bed. Also I noticed that the very bottom sheet had a brown stain on it. The mattress cover was one that is used to cover mattresses to prevent bedbugs from entering or escaping. I wrapped the tiny bug in a tissue and gave it to the man at the front desk while I told him that someone was already in room 201. He then assigned me to room 221. This was the weekend and the manager was on vacation. The bedbug was given to the head of housekeeping. There was supposed to be an investigation and the manager was supposed to call me. I doubt if I will be reimbursed for that stay. I haven't heard from anyone yet 12/12/2024.
I am impressed, 60 dollars the rooms are clean and warm, staff is friendly and helpful. It’s 1 minute to Sheetz the mall and many other things. The morning breakfast is decent.

Rooms appear to be clean but floor is flithy dirt!! We took off shoes and our feet were black steeped into shower to clean feet and shower water black and black foot prints where we stood in shower!!! Now saying that this was nothing compared to this…. We were woke up at 2:30 in morning and heard rustling in room … thought someone broke in room or our car parked out front of room my husband gets us we turn on light to see a mouse big at that running away behind dresser and mouse droppings on floor by garbage can we’re out food wrapper we’re
My husband take garbage outside we get back in bed 2 min later we again here crackling this time it was trying to get in my makeup bag
We got up but everything up high on bathrr shelves above toilet finally peace in morning we advised front desk they could careless charged us full price for the night and said oh we give you discount next time like there would be a next time ??? He even came to our room and took pictures of mouse dropping even on top of dresser

The GM should be fired. HEATHER OWENS will do anything in her power to ruin your stay, and kick you out. I booked for a weekend. Checked in Friday and stayed 1 night, before she cancelled our booking. Saturday morning my wife and I went for coffee at McDonald's. We realized when we got back that there wasn't enough sugar or it was all in the bottom, so I stopped into the lobby to ask for a spoon. Sign on the counter said sorry for the inconvenience but they got called away and would be back. I waited for a few minutes, pushed a button that was on the counter and waited. The breakfast nook had 3 chairs going across the entryway as if they had mopped the floor. I moved one chair and grabbed a spoon and 3 sugar packets off the counter. The GM blew into the lobby screaming at me as if I committed a major crime, she stated "who tf moved my chairs". I said it was me, I'm sorry, I needed a spoon and didn't know when someone would be back and the GM stated "to get tf out of my hotel'. She followed me outside to my vehicle and proceeded to come towards me like some teenager ready to brawl more than once, I told my wife to record what was happening. She called police and the police refused to even review the facts before asking us to leave I cannot wait to meet my lawyer today at 1pm, we have all but what was said in the lobby on video, and there were cameras in the lobby. Someone needs to review the footage, and find another manager. I have turned my video footage over to authorities.
Ran by thieves..... The rooms were very dirt, very over priced, had to get all the pillows and blankets i was traveling with just for something comfy to sleep on. The pillows they had were awful. Sheets didnt fit bed gross, hairs all over bathroom dirty toilet and mirror. But i delt with it. Only for them to charge almost 80 for a crap room. Gets better then i get back to Michigan and find they stold 150.00 from my bank account saying i smoked in my room. Which i did absolutely NOT. I checked in had dinner went to bed and left at 6 a.m
Thieves and liars!!! BEWARE.
I stay in hotels 4 nights a week for work... this is definitely a first for me. Which if i smoked in my rooms it would be normal and i would of course owe money. But that isnt the case here!!
The lady in the front is disrespectful someone made a mess and she got mad at the wrong lady. Cussed her out with her kids and my kids in the lobby very unprofessional. Then tried to kick her because she stuck up for herself. I was a little late on check out which I told her I was gonna be she said it was fine long as I was out by 11:30. Then she comes at 11:20 screaming when check out time was and said she’s gonna charge me for another night. I’ve been gone over a week and she’s still trying to charge my card. She should not work there she takes her management power to powerful. She disrespects the house cleaning lady’s she has a foul mouth. It’s a uncomfortable stay when your there. She needs to be fired! Only thing nice was having a pool but we went when she wasn’t working because she would come outside and complain.
The rooms were spacious and clean . The front desk people were friend polite and respectful. Prices were great too
