I reserved a non smoking room.
What a disappointment when I got there. The room smelled terribly like smoking, moldy, and a strange smell that I can not describe.
Everything looks totally different to the pictures that they show in the website. NASTY, NASTY. NASTYYYY!!
BED has a very all matress full of stain like blood marks.
Everything is all and roasted. Towels were white, but they look old and dark, curtains broken, full of stain. Bathroom curtain dirty, etc.
I asked for a refund. That place was terrible!!!. Since they did not want to give me my money back, I decided to stay, but I had to go to the store and buy lysol, hand sanitizer, washing clothes, wipes, soup, and air Refreshener. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE!!
The next evening, I found out that I had been bit up by bedbugs. So disgusting.
I was bit up very badly. I had bites all over my body. ( I have pictures of the bedbug, and all the descriptions that I an making of this unsafe place..
I went to talk to the office and asked them to go to the room to see the bedbugs. Instead of going to the room, they said it was not true and treated me very bad. NO RESPECT AT ALL!!
They answer to reviews to pretend that they care. They dont. Sanitation should close it!!!!
Unfortunately, due to my urgency on finding a place to stay in Melbourne, I reserved at that place without reading reviews
After my traumatizing experience was when I read the other costumers reviews. My big mistake.
We booked a last minute hotel here and would NOT recommend it to anyone. It was supposed to be non smoking but the room had cigarette odor and burn marks on the table and sink. The ceiling had pieces falling off, the sink would not drain, side tables were ruined with water saturation at the bottoms. There were very poorly “patched” places allover the walls and door. The AC was rigged to fit a small household unit instead of the typical unit, and no it did not do a good job cooling. There were two large “patches” in the carpet where a piece had been replaced and lastly the pillows on the bed were awful. One was a ball instead of pillow shaped and the other was missing the entire center. Do NOT stay here.
I live close and had a power emergency and needed a quick place to take myself and a dog to a pet friendly place that was close by.my ,tried to save a few dollars that was a big mistake.The room was nasty there was a film over the big mirror hanging on the wall, there was mold all in the bathrooms the toilets was the height for children . I'm 6ft 2 . The nightstand by the bed had at least 12 cigarette Burns on it and it was a non-smoking roomThe ugly carpet that smells,needs to be ripped up and have tile put down since it's so close to the beach.. the smell was so bad I just went and slept in my car, lots of sketchy full-time residents live there, a lot of hang outside their rooms. Do yourself a favor spend a few extra bucks and stay at a nicer place. Satellite beach is great area and this place is not reflected that.
Based on my own personal experience, DO NOT STAY HERE !! I lasted only 2 hours in my room after check in. Given the unbelievably gross condition of my room, I actually feared for my health. Long term motel tenants were crowded around my door making me feel unsafe. The long term tenants next to meet vacated their room for the evening, leaving behind a non-stop barking Labrador. This place is nothing less than a modern day horror story ! The best decision I ever made was to eat the cost of my stupid mistake and escape to a reputable, comfortable hotel nearby. Here's a perfect example of why Google should offer ZERO stars as a rating option.
Room smelled like the 80s. It was non smoking but could tell it was heavily smoked in throughout the years.
It didn't have any bugs.
There was a big long black hair on the wall in the bathroom.
"continental breakfast" is a very loose team.
But the price for the location was ok. So many public beaches in walking distance.
Front desk employees were very friendly during check in/ out.
Was looking for a place for a FAMILY get away and made tentative reservations (being told that I would not be charged if I didn't check in).... and after seeing reviews like "feared for my lIfe" and " drug addicts at my door" I decided I would NOT be taking my sister and nieces here...
ANNND THEY CHARGED ME ANYWAYS!!!!
The first lady was quite nice though and I specifically asked and was specifically told if I didn't check in the would be no charge on my card...
$176 for a no shoe fee for a 2 day stay!
Positive: I didn?t like anything about this hotel. It was the worst hotel I?ve ever stayed at. Negative: I didn?t like that it wasn?t clean. It had roaches debris. Bed was stained. The sheets were stained. Cleanliness was just unsanitary.
Positive: Nothing. Was a nasty experience. Negative: Very unpleasant experience, the room stank of fungi, apparently someone had been there before and so they gave it to me. The bathroom didn't even come down, it had urine.
