Pete at the front desk was straight and to the point which I liked. He had the check in process organized. When I got to my room, it was clean. I also checked for a mattress pad, as I always do, and he had the EXACT zipper one that needs to be on these beds to prevent bedbugs. The linens were on the bed to where I could bounce a coin. The mattress(beauty rest) and pillows(I included name in the pictures) were EXTREMELY comfortable, so much I took a picture of both because, I’ll be looking to purchase both for myself. The place is old and it shows on the outside and not 5 stars but is a nice place to rest your head peacefully and comfortably. .
I woke up with a spider on my arm at 3am then at 630am a small roach on the bed sheet. To my surprise in the bath room behind the door another spider. Behind the chair I found one more spider a small one. I understand it an older hotel but this was bad. Never again.
Stayed in rm 119 one week, everything was fine, just stayed one night. Clean and ac works good. The following week stayed in rm 111, if this had been my first time, I wouldn't come back. I think someone rebuilt a transmission in the bathtub, it was unbelievable. Don't know how it looks like that and be clean, that's why I always have flip-flops. New management has fixed ice machine which is great. Never tried the breakfast in lobby, I'm always gone before it starts. Stayed there four times, one bad experience. Wish I would've taken pics.
They should allow you to give 0 stars!!! I stayed here to attend a funeral. The old man at the front desk was beyond rude. The rooms are completely outdated. The rooms smell old but covered up with cleaner. The floors are sticky and around the beds are disgusting as if it has never been cleaned. The bathroom had rust all over the pace. You also have holes in the bathroom that someone tried to patch and stuff toilet paper in. This place needs to be shut down just disgusting!!
Wish I could give Zero Stars Old Gentleman at the front desk was very rude and when I went to report that they had bedbugs in the rooms he tried to blame us for bringing them here, when we were only here for one night, no sir I saw poop stains from the bed bugs that looked like it tooks weeks to create that much stains and how many they were. I managed to take one picture because I ran out the room once I saw just how much of them I saw under one bed! I immediately took my belongings and put them in my car and the old gentlemen persisted that we were the cause of it "it only takes a few hours" he said to me, "to hatch that many or make that much poop stains". Absolutely out of his effing mind!!
I am very pleased with our stay here. Rooms are very clean, very comfortable beds and that is a big plus, hot shower and awesome water pressure. We will be back next year. Very nice staff. Also close to fast food places.
This is completely renovated hotel after the Storm . Beds were very nice and comfortable . Coin washer and Dryer were nice and used it . Big 50 inch TV in the room . Played some game on it . Nice BBQ area outside .
Excellent stay . Highly Reccomended .
Bath Tubs were brand new so not sure about previous review .
Manager was very nice, price was right there for overnight stay, thank you for your service America s Best Value Inn.
