We picked this because of its location to the Cruise terminal . Room was old and needed refurbish bad. Furniture was a collection from yard sales . Rooms next door under construction. Service we checked in. Ac panel was missing and was loud.when running. Location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Best thing about it was the cool restaurant next door.
I liked that it was easily accessible for food, the two days that i was there. Not very far from the 405, and gas station an liquor store, were both within walking distance. There is a skate park directly across the street if that interests you. I will definitely keep this place in mind for next time. If you are looking for something very basic, and are on a budget. I would give this place a shot.
This hotel was awful. We checked in, and they put us in a room directly below where they were doing construction. The construction guys came down at 3 pm and told us they would just be a couple of hours. They did not stop banging until 8 pm. Our room had all kinds of ceiling debris over everything. There were only 4 outlets in the whole room. One was behind the TV and had that, and the microwave plugged in. One was behind the bed and had one lamp plugged in. The lower outlet blew a fireball at us when we tried to plug into it. The plug in the bathroom didn't work at all, and the remaining outlet wouldn't hold a plug in it. The overhead light would randomly come on in the middle of the night. My husband and I both got up several times in the night to turn off the light. They would just fall right out. There were also bugs. 10/10 DO NOT recommend.
Best motel in the area always clean , they have some soaps an shampoo i really. Nice staff . Walking distance to a several markets, lots of shopping n the area. Also has a restaurant on site with live music most might. Affordable an Safe !!
Not what I expected, the bed cover was dirty, and jacuzzi was not a pleasant looking.
The next day, the housekeeping lady was so nice and cleaned the room and bed covers.
You will get a GREAT NIGHTS SLEEP. The hotel is CLEAN. We’re staying at la Quinta right now next to LAX and wish we booked this hotel again. Last night we slept like babies. Check in is very easy, there was plenty of soap, and the pillows and beds are so comfortable! I wish we could back. The hotel we are at right now is more expensive and has a free breakfast & a pool. But we have to pay for parking in la Quinta, AND it’s expensive and fancy for no reason. Sometimes price doesn’t match quality. The check in was SO EASY the front desk was nice. Conveniently next to grocery, gas, fast food. Who cares about all the fluff, as long as you enjoy your stay. I’m telling you the beds and pillows are amazing. That’s all the matters. Which makes this a great hotel! 10/10
Did I get a good night's sleep? Yes. Would I come back? Maybe.||The room was clean and comfortable, and I could tell that the owners had tried their best to patch up the normal wear and tear. The TV worked fine. The sound of the heater/air conditioner was easy to ignore. The window had a privacy layer on it. The Wi-Fi connection was stable.||However, the water pressure in the tub seemed strong from the faucet and then very weak from the shower. The toilet paper roll holder was broken. And the bathroom fan didn't seem to work.||Parking looked a lot more challenging than it really was--there's an exit you can't see from the street. The place seemed to have two or three names. And there was almost no Verizon cell phone signal.||Overall, I'd say it met my needs--a reasonably comfortable place to sleep.
Room was clean but small at a reasonable price. Jason was excellent with check in and concierge service recommending nearby places to see and eat. He got us prompt taxi service several times. Hotel is convenient to the port.
