For a budget hotel, this place is great. The room had a king bed and was spacious. It was reasonably clean and all of the amenities worked. Our only issue is that upon arrival we noticed the bed was stripped and what appeared to be a set of clean linens was on the table. We met friends for dinner and it was late when we returned. We discovered there weren't any sheets available but we put the clean mattress cover and pillow cases on and slept on that. Luckily I had a blanket from home. We could have called and asked for sheets but it was late at night by then so why bother anyone about it. The bed was quite comfortable. The pet fee was $22 which is less than other hotels have charged us.
Excellent family operated motel for an off season 7 day vacay. Friendly and helpful in every way. Clean, quiet, and safe. Perfect not only for access to the Port Aransas and Padre Island drive on beaches, but also a scenic drive for anyone visiting greater Corpus Christi. The best America's Best Value Inn I've ever experienced.
Great Stay at America’s Best Value Inn, Port Aransas**
We recently stayed at America’s Best Value Inn in Port Aransas and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and well-maintained facilities. The pool area was nice and provided a great spot to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.. Overall, it's a good option for a budget-friendly stay.

The room was nice temperature. And the bed was amazingly comfortable. It’s too bad that the front desk lady was so cold at check in and treated me like she was doing me a favor when there was only one other room rented for the night. The room was tiny for the price $100 which was used for less than 12 hours. I was also too scared to turn off the lights so slept with tv and light on.
Recently stayed at America best port aransas. Had a great stay. Clean close to everything. King suite was big and roomy. Staff is super nice. Little trouble getting enough hot water. But will be using them again. Thank you Dee for our stay. Karan Rollins Lowe.
Great hotel , great place to stay if you’re coming and visiting the beach!! I’m from San Antonio so I’m used to such bigger towns but Port A is a small town with so many different places to visit by walking distant! Beach was great!! And the pool felt nice as well! 100 recommend and will be returning the next time we come!
Positive: Not a thing, the smell of mold hits you so hard. It was like getting hit in face with a baseball bat. The owner tried saying it was all the humidity in the air that caused the mold. Negative: My husband's a plumber and it's clear that there was a water leak in the past and instead of doing mold abatement they just painted over. This hotel is going to kill somebody just by breathing the air
The location of this hotel is so awesome. I was able to walk to the grocery store after arriving from Austin. After I settled with my dad and got everything organized for our deep sea fishing the next day, I walked right across the street and had drink at Texas Red's Riviera. Jeff made great drinks. Seafood and Spaghetti Works is a must on the island before heading back home. I recommend anyone going deep sea fishing to check this spot out. The hotel staff was very pleasant. I know I will be staying here the next time I come down.
