We stayed one night in this hotel while visiting Finger Lakes area with our dog.
The hotel room is large, pleasantly decorated and clean. The location is quiet and feels very safe.
The grab-and-go breakfast was an added bonus, as we had to leave very early in the morning.
The $10 dog fee is very reasonable. This hotel is a great option for travelers with a dog.
Highly recommended!
It's a motel. The buildings around the perimeter reminded me of park buildings. Spacious carpet less room, with more windows than most places. Quiet air conditioner. Soft bed and pillows. Good water pressure. However, it looked worn down and seemed to have mold or mildew on the shower curtain and visible damage in places. Be prepared to see a hand-written envelope from the housekeeper asking for a tip.
Service was lacking. Pool looked clean but the front desk didn't know if the water was heated (it didn't feel too cold but also not warm either). Couldn't reach someone by phone from the room and an attendant would often not be around at the front desk.
Wish grab and go breakfast items had more healthier options with less added sugar.
For the price, I expected more.
Stayed here for 3 nights, check in was quick and easy the Front desk worker was very nice and polite. The outside was a little dated/run down looking but the rooms themselves were very clean and looked to be renovated recently with carpet less rooms. And it was also very quiet.The downsides were the beds were very very firm, the water pressure in the shower was was almost non existent and the TV was on the smaller side compared to most other hotels. Honestly if I have to be in the area for more then one night I would look for a different place to stay but that's just my opinion because of the bed being very firm.
We arrived fairly late and Checked in at 1:00 am. I called prior to and the lady who answered was very nice and friendly helpful and patient as we were on the road for a few hours heading back to Canada.
Upon arriving My husband was attended quickly and this was a great bonus considering we were travelling with our kids we wanted them to sleep comfortably for the night.
The bed, and pillows were comfortable.
The carpet had stains on it, the shower curtain, we could see hair left over from prior to our stay.
The toilet seats do need to be replaced, I have read they are going to start remodelling which is great news as I would come back and stay, If needed to. I absolutely loved it pet friendly. They have lots of greenery and picnic tables. Dog station (dog bags)
Me and my husband loved that we got to park our truck right outside our door.
The bed sheets did have a stain. but you can tell it was fresh bed sheets its evident its a stain. it wasnt dirty.
Which Is understanding considering the amount of people who may stay here.
Possibly investing in a new power washer to wash the bed sheets. Another bonus we absolutely loved was they ask for no deposit.
This made us feel extremely comfortable and grateful to have that trust as many hotels motels and inns relatively ask for a deposit.
Extremely happy with the comfortableness of the bed, and prompt service despite's arriving so late.
We stayed at Americas Best Inn in Painted Post, NY past week and the stay was phenomenal. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff does a great job, as does the front desk mgr, Lawrence. He was very helpful in correcting my reservation error and helping us navigate the area. Five stars for the staff alone!
We really wanted to use the outdoor pool which looked wonderful considering most places don’t have outdoor pools anymore, but we had to get down the road the next morning for other reasons. The bedroom was clean, they just installed all new stairwells to the second floor, which were very nice. They seem to be on top of keeping the place up-to-date. Bed was very comfortable.

What you could expect from a 2-star hotel. Large, spacious; rooms were well equipped but you could tell they were old and out of maintenance (eg the sink would either throw hot water or cold water than 2” later also turned into hot water…). They were also a bit smelly, the usual mixture of dust ans humidity of rooms that don’t have propee ventilation. We didn’t get to experience the breakfast because we were late
