This motel was a great value for the three days we spent there. Besides a hint of mildew when we first entered the room, everything was clean, and we had housekeeping every day. Continental Breakfast is standard danishes and beagles. Recommended for a visit to St Augustine.
The young lady at the front desk was so sweet and friendly, she gave us ideas for places to go. The room could use a little more of a welcome feeling. The rooms dont look like the pics posted,but they were clean other than the mildew smell. If you want to really watch tv,it's not going to happen,you get like 10 channels. For a quick overnight,it's ok.
For what it is - an inexpensive motel that's a 10-minute walk from the beach - it's great. The clerk was very nice and friendly. The room was well-kept, fairly stylish, clean, freshly-painted, and relatively up-to-date. Had USB charging outlets, decent soaps, and a nice AC unit. Can't comment on the free breakfast because we didn't try it, but they do have one which isn't as common as it once was.
Close to beaches, nice staff, and rooms are adequate. While there was no smoking in the rooms, the other guests may stand right outside your door and smoke whatever they want. The linens/blankets are a little scratchy. The location is great: close to beaches, a good restaurant, and a grocery store. For a cheap motel, it is good.
2 weeks after Milton and Helene. The room smelled musty abd the couch or occaision chair was missing. But overall, for the price, it was good. The pool looked clean, we didn't get around to using it. The hotel is conveniently located on the a1a with easy driving access to beaches and the Castilla and histric downtown tourist area.
This was a great room and a very good price for what we got through Expedia. It was not on the beach directly but it was not very far away from it either which helped us with the price. It looked like the place was newly renovated because of how clean and knew it looked and the service was exceptional. We would definitely go back.
This is truly America's Best they still have Bibles in the drawers the owners are phenomenal housekeeping and all the staff are great close to all the locations far enough away to get some peace and quiet an absolute must five stars
This is a dated hotel however for the value it was a great stay. The rooms have tile floors which honestly was great considering your near the beach. The room had clean beds and bathroom. The staff was very kind and the outdoor pool was in great shape. Cold as it was being in December however the kids still made use of it. The location is close to many points of interest and good local food. I would stay here again if vacationing on a budget.
