The room I spent the night in was clean, no bugs of any kind, thank God. Hotel needs a serious update though. At some point in the night walked out to have a cigarette and either the woman I saw walk out her room was giving me a show (fully naked balls out) or came out looking for someone. Either way, probably not a hotel where I'd want to bring children to. Other activity happening that would sure make me think twice before considering stay again. Other than that, I guess mind your own, and probably be fine.
Dump! Third worst hotel room ever. It's beyond filthy. Nothing works. No electrical outlets. TV didn't work. No micro or fridge. I had a dish towel to dry off with. The lady at the desk was super nice. The sheets looked very clean. You get what you pay for I suppose.
First 2 rooms had obscene amounts of cockroaches. At least a dozen in the shower. Manager refused refund and offered to show two other rooms personally. Third one has bedbugs on the pillow and fourth room had cockroaches running to greet us upon entry. He used his key card to scare them away. Somebody had thrown food or feces against the wall in there and it clearly hadn't been cleaned or had the toilets flushed. Refused refund because we had now been there longer than 5 minutes. Said he can't do refunds only the manager can. Have a phone number for the manager that just rings. Criminal and disgusting!
Update: You will not win the dispute. They have forms pre-written to send bank to the bank so you will lose your dispute, including putting BLATANT LIES in the report to cover themselves. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY AND GET SCAMMED. They will not reply to your email and will not answer the phone unless you spam them, in which they will just redirect you to emailing.
THEY REFUSE TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND REFUND ME WHEN I CHECKED OUT EARLY. THIS IS A SCAM PLACE. Run. Just RUN and spend extra money on a nicer place or you will lose money here and regret every second you stay. It says that it’s a non-smoking room but it reeks of cigarettes. Room had a blood stain on the wall and multiple damages where they would just out duct tape over it. Unhygienic and unsafe. I didn’t even risk using the shower in case I caught something. Customer service couldn’t be trashier and they couldn’t care less about you. My room was connected to another room with a weak lock. You could hear EVERY conversation from the other room AND outside even with the windows shut and TV on. Please do yourself a favor and don’t cheap out like me. You will save yourself from a huge headache and lots of money. I’m currently still disputing my transaction for the nights that I paid even though I checked out and left IMMEDIATELY after one night of sleeplessness.
The rooms were not as clean, but acceptable given the price. Parking Lot Security was good and the parking lot well lit up. The location to the lake w is the best feature.
The breakfast is a joke with only coffee and some wraps up pastry from an unknown product.The so called orange juice is completely artificial. So bring your own drinks for breakfast. There is a good stand up refrigerator with microwave. So, depending on your stay. You can be alright. Try to get rooms with no connecting rooms. The privacy is better.
Positive: The location....that it's near a lake, it's proximity to City Center, and the convenience to get around to other parts of San Francisco Bay Area. Negative: The worst thing about the place is the type of "traffic" that rolls through the property......they definitely create a ruckus. The carpet could definitely use a shampoo; the shower stalls are too tiny and too slippery; they use only use flat sheets.
It was a fast and easy check-in. Plenty of parking. Housekeeping was friendly when I asked for some towels for my room when I didn't have any when I checked in. The room was ok. Modern TV, mini fridge, and microwave. The location wasn't that great. Can't keep the window open and rest because cars and motorcycles speeding consistently. There are not too many places to eat nearby.
They showed us 4 rooms. Every one had cockroaches or bedbugs so we asked for a refund. He made up multiple rules why he couldn't so we called OPD who couldn't do anything. Next day we went to the manager who said he would refund it but allow up to 10 business days. Do NOT stay here!
