Water is hot and the fridge is cold. The lights, AC, & locks work. It's conveniently located next to plenty of food and shopping, and NRG stadium. It's checks all the boxes possible at this price point. Even allowed me to check-in crazy early at no charge.
Unacceptable behavior roaches everywhere sometimes people just don't give a damn and you do anything wrong and they blame you for everything that everybody else did now they're blaming me and want me to leave because I allowed someone to come by and say hi that lived here for 2 months during FEMA lunacy you're better off going to academy and buying a tent
10/10 would stay again. Amazing choice for the price point. By no means luxury but the next best thing! VERY CLEAN, comfortable beds. Tv and shower worked great. Comes with shampoo/lotion/soap. Service was friendly and efficient! You can tell it’s family owned and they all really care. Great location as well. Walkable distance to NRG stadium. Very close to medical district and museums.
We had booked another hotel months in advance because we were showing our animals at the stock show. We are from Dallas the very day that our reservation was to be the other hotel called 20 minutes before we got to our room and said they had canceled our reservation because there was no rooms available.We went and checked to see if America’s best value inn had any rooms available. The guy front desk was very helpful. He checked to see if he had a room on the first floor mind you because I have bad knees, and was able to get me in there for the two days and a great price. I know some people would be leery because of where the hotels at but it was very nice and quiet. The owners were great to us to be honest, will be staying there every year we show at the rodeo from now on.I would suggest if you’re looking for a great priced hotel near the stadium and when people that actually care about their customers, give them a call.

We booked the room last min for the Renaissance tour. The first room we were offered (#120) smelled strongly of urine. The odor was so intense it begin to irritate my throat. We asked to move rooms due to the smell. The second room (#114) didn’t smell like urine, but the air was still very musty/stale. After walking around the room in socks, we discovered a soaking wet carpet (from the AC condensation), likely the cause of the mold.
We did not stay the night, but in the few hours we were at the motel, I started sneezing repeatedly, and my eyes were leaking. I also experienced a sore throat, and chest discomfort. I have now been sick for over a week, as have the two others I shared the room with. I did not have any of these symptoms prior to my visit. I have asthma, so I can only imagine what staying here could do to someone who is immunocompromised. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
Please stay away from this motel. You might be enticed by the price, but your health shouldn’t be at risk.
Great service, great staff, good place from the NRG stadium. 15 minute walk to it. The parking is include as well so no extra fee at the stadium. The place was really clean. They just need to unclug the shower drain ???? I would recommend this place to any one.
The Owner at America's Best Inn, at the NRG Area, was very Friendly & the Desk Clerk. We had to book a place to stay, we was visiting family & my Husband wasn't feeling well to drive back home in Austin. Thank you for great service.
Our room was filthy! Make sure you pull back the duvet and make sure all the linen on the bedding is completely clean. My boyfriend and I came from Dallas to Houston. I called the 24 hour front desk and no one picked up several times.Due to weather conditions. We were inside with our own blankets and bedding‘s to put over the beds. I contacted management and he it was rude. He did not try to resolve the situation even though he asked me to send in pictures. I sent him over the pictures and the other duvet on the other bed had a white substance on it. I will never go back.
