The worst room I've ever spent a night in, and I've done jail time. I must have killed 40 bugs in my "suite". Water pressure was nonexistent. The sewer smells coming from the drain made me physically ill. Everything seemed like it was wiped down with slime. There was not a surface that wasn't gross to the touch.
I've never seen a confluence of apathy quite so severe.
The owner should be ashamed. What an absolute scumbag.
It was so bad that even if they gave me a full refund, which they didn't, I would still hold a grudge over being exposed to such a toxic environment.
To be avoided at all costs.
And take your cut-and-paste response and stick it where the sun don't shine. I would rather sleep in my car, on the side of the freeway, next to a porta-potty dump site, than endure your beyond-gross environment. Heinous in the extreme.
Room was ok. Needs new carpet and the ceiling in the bathroom fixed. No bugs. Seems to have people living in some of the rooms and some don't keep an eye on their kids. Went down to get breakfast in the morning and all there was is toast, bagels and cereal and the milk was gone. Brian at the front desk was very nice and helpful. And if you want a great meal go next door to El Toreto Mexican restaurant!
The rooms are not clean with dirty carpets and bugs crawl on you while you sleep. You can see outside around door frames. The ac units are at ground level and suck in everything from smoke to vehicle exhaust. WiFi doesn't work and TV's only get 6 channels. 100% No refund policy. Last resort only.
Americas best Inn ... its definitely JUST a name ... not a quality rating....I wish I would have slept in my truck ..... desk clerk was polite ... room was ... eh, the bed was made, at least..... I'm exhausted from a drive, hurting and all I wanted was a hot shower and a bed ... I got a bed, ... the shower wouldn't drain... this, I feel is something that the cleaning person would have noted for maintenance.... had they actually cleaned the room, ... half used soap in the bathroom and the shampoo bottles were empty...upon checking out, I let the front desk clerk sitting behind the counter know about the drain and tried to explain the used soaps... the clerk that couldn't even be bothered to say good morning or stand up and greet a guest .... I got a half grumbled reply of ... oh,...well sorry about that, as she goes back to doing whatever was more important than her job. .....don't stay here, yall ... there's other hotels around, pick somewhere else... I sure wish I would have.
This place is absolutely disgusting and should be demolished!!! At 2 am, I was so exhausted from traveling and needed a room to relax before continuing my drive. After opening the door to my room, I pulled back the covers and there were bed bugs crawling all over the pillows!!! ????I packed my belongings, went to the front desk, and demanded a refund after paying $83 for this dump!!! The racist, lying, front desk clerk claimed she did not know how to perform the transaction and told me the manager would be in the next morning to give me a refund. Right. ????I left immediately and booked a room at Super 8 adjacent to this dingy creepy place, and it was clean and comfortable!!! I called back the next day to speak to the manager to inquire about my refund. No surprise. No one answered the phone. I called this morning, and the racist front desk clerk claimed that the manager checked the room and did not see any bed bugs. LIES!!! They can keep the $83. Maybe they can use it to fumigate room 106. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! IT IS BEYOND DISGUSTING!!! ????
Stopped after 12 hrs driving. Very easy to get too right off hwy. Front desk was person was extremely friendly. Not a fancy place but decent location and room.
This place is infested with bed bugs the hotel staff are very rude. There seems to be like drug dealers hanging around the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would recommend anyone using or looking for a hotel you find another one.
Dirty, outdated, paper thin walls, uncomfortable beds, door was not secure and would lock all the way, lighting is horrible, muddy, filthy worker boots lined up outside of almost every door, mud and chunks on all steps! This place is super sketch but the only place available for us at 3am when our RV broke down and we were stuck in the area. Oh and we still had to pay full price ($102) checking in at 3am and out by 8am. We could not wait to get out of this hotel and were barely able to actually get 1 hour of sleep. We were too scared to try the shower, so no comment on that, other than all the towels we saw had filthy dirt stains on them. We also did not dare check out their free breakfast because of our impression of the hotel and our room as a whole. I'm sure it would have been disgusting also. Would not recommend this place to even those I strongly dislike. ????
