The staff was amazing absolutely no complaints there. Unfortunately the room was really dirty. I wouldn’t even shower in the bathroom. The room was also about 90 degrees when we arrived and it took a solid 3 hours to cool it down. The mattress was very comfortable and did appear to be new. Location was okay there was no place to get food right by the motel. It was cheap though and we only needed a place to rest overnight.
Not a "feck review" that the owner claims whenever someone says something bad about this place.
While it's the cheapest option around, I would highly recommend just spending the extra few dollars a night to go anywhere else.
I tried to shorten my stay with the desk who said "no refunds". Called the company I used to book and lo and behold I was able to get my money back (after a fee).
Very dirty, like flip flops in the shower dirty. Pillows were absolutely disgusting and even though I got a non smoking room, the linens had burn holes in them and a smell that never leaves. Door handle broke off when I was inside.
While I can understand not being fluent, not knowing any English when working customer service is insane. No "do not disturb" signs so when the housekeeper would come they didn't understand when I said "come back later" or "no thanks". Id yell come back later from the bathroom (which I know they heard because the walls are paper thin) and they'd be trying to open the door even though it's locked and latched.
If it wasn't so cheap there's literally be no upsides to staying here
I have been staying in this hotel a couple months and every room I’ve had was up to part the staff are very friendly and they do what they can to accommodate their guest I have yet to have a bad experience here it’s quite and peaceful. If I have any problem all I have done was let the staff know and they solved it with no problem the housekeepers make sure they give you service everyday as well so I thank that’s a good thing as well overall the air and the heat works fine so I can’t complain and I would recommend this hotel to tourists getting off the highway as well
You may not give a two-star hotel five stars, but if they are excellent at being a two-star hotel, they deserve five stars. This is an older Motel situated right off I-20 in the middle of Meridian Mississippi. I'm driving across country in my new rv, and did not have any reservations or any ideas that I was stopping in Meridian when I started driving yesterday morning. I pulled in with my dog and they were very happy to charge us a regular rate with no extra fees for this little dog. Amenities for few but a clean room with king size bed, and cable TV with HBO 2 in particular to watch The Batman as background to my Uber Eats delivered curry, and then HBO family this morning to catch a glimpse of all things, The Wizard of Oz. If you knew the journey I have undertaken in this RV, you would enjoy the irony. The Scarecrow was RIGHT in the middle of singing "If I Only Had a Brain". I walked my dog around in a steady rain and climbed into the RV to cook up sausage and eggs. No complaints from the management. Check-out at 11, rain stopped at 10:30. All in all a pleasant stay.
I felt unsafe there especially when your door says lock your deadbolt. The sheetrock on the roof looked like it would cave in on top of our bed. The refrigerator built in the wall wouldn't shut. There was also mouse droppings in the tub. The people at the desk where friendly and that's the only good thing I can say about this place.
I stayed at this location for three nights. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff were friendly and able accommodate any concerns or needs that I had. My commercial truck was in the shop and I didn't have a vehicle, but I was able to utilize Uber and other food delivery services with local restaurants nearby. The area was peaceful with no threats from any outside guest. It was also cost efficient. I have no complaints.
One of the greatest services I’ve ever seen! The staff is so respectful and welcoming. Everything in the room was neatly placed, there was no sign of pests, and the place was overall very clean! The furniture was up to date and we had no complaints in the duration of our stay! I would definitely recommend staying here with your family and children!
Dispensers for soap and shampoo were empty. Breakfast menu is very limited. Room was clean but dated
I've stayed in nicer places for less money. I won't make the same mistake again.
