I just love this hotel right here off Lamar Memphis. Best customer service ever. I left some items in the room. My items were returned back to me, including cash, great housekeeping, wash machine and dryer on site
Price too high to not have room service. But most of all my stay was good and enjoyable. It’s kid friendly and pet friendly also.
Nothing fancy, its an Inn. The pillows were lumpy and the sheets were scractchy. But if your on a budget in your travels, itll do the trick for a night.

We had to stop after driving 16+hrs and this was one of the closest hotels near us and boy did it disappoint!!! As soon as the receptionist allowed us to get inside the door, all furniture in lobby was disgusting to sit on, dirty as can be....the rest of the lobby looked normal. However, as we walked to our room the smell of cigarettes was sooo strong (the entire hotel is non-smoking by the way) that we knew we were in trouble but it was past midnight that we had no choice but to stay the night there. Inside the room the same smell of cigarettes....it was disgusting!!! As we walked in the room we were also received by a cockaroach....gross!!!
I can't even put everything in writing as I wouldn't finish....But besides all the negatives, you can even hear when rooms besides and above would flush the toilets and pull the toilet paper out.....

The room was clean and the staff were pleasant. The razor wire surrounding the property is a little eerie but does add to the security.
I was in town for business so I also blame my job at the time for being cheap. They had me setup for an overnight stay. As soon as I walk in I notice you need your room key card to gain entry into the main door. There is a separate window for check in. I ring the buzzer to get checked in and eventually someone comes running around the corner with a sweater on instead of a uniform shirt. Mind you it’s hot in Memphis. I digress, so I instantly noticed a couple of sus men walking about the halls. I get my keycard and wait for them to leave so I can go inside my room. Once inside, I smelled old stale water, saw used wet towels on the floor, bed wasn’t made, bathroom wasn’t cleaned, you name it. I confront the employee about this and he didn’t really show much empathy nor sympathy after I expressed my disappointment. I informed him that this will definitely get reported and shared online. I was then given another room across from that one. This one had plastic over the smoke detector (mind you I asked for non-smoking). There was 2 handprints on the flatscreen tv, the microwave was greasy and unclean, the bedspread had strands of hair on it, the lampshades had mold spots on them, it’s smelled like it rain poured down inside, the artwork covering had black spots on it, the “leather” desk chair was torn off, the carpet smelled dirty, there were various stains on the walls all around, the shower knob was broken off so you could only take a bath (but there was a light ring around the tub). The hdmi cable on the tv was hanging off, the remote was greasy. I found out my keycard worked for another random room because I thought I went into my room after getting fresh air, only there was someone in bed and I apologized and immediately exited smh. This room was the worse room that I have ever had. This room should’ve been $25 if that. There isn’t any housekeeping available. There isn’t any usb charging options in the room or in the main lobby so bring your charging block. It’s gets really cold in that room and the heat doesn’t work. I just chose to check out early and go to the airport to possibly get a nap in. Management, do better! This was totally unacceptable.
This hotel is very clean and nice inside. The parking lot has a gated area and is well lit at night, the lobby and staff are really nice and helpful, and check in and out was fast and easy too. The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed and air worked great. The only thing I would say anything negative about is the breakfast. I would like to see hot items like eggs and maybe some meat but the cereal, muffins, and waffles did great.
Unless they get it 95% better than what they try to give me. I would be a lot better staying in my car. What I experienced in the two rooms they tried to give me was 5% clean at best. I think I'm being a little generous in giving them a 5% cleaning. You would think with the world trying to get over COVID, this establishment would try and clean and change the sheets.
