I stay here when visiting my daughter at school. It's just a few minutes from University of Houston, and even closer to TSU. Prices are great. Lot is very well lit. I haven't had any issues here.
The room was clean and looked recently updated. However the outside of the rooms, hallways and stairs were dirty and had trash piled up. I would not recommend this place for families with little children, did not feel safe. The breakfast area (front desk) is very small
Walking distance to HEB. Lobby is small but super clean, well-lit, and well air conditioned. Front desk is friendly and welcoming!
Nice rooms You can tell that the owners took time to renovate. This is my second time using this location. Clean bathrooms are really important to me and they understand the assignment.
Room and service was nice, location felt a little sketchy at night. Slept really good! The manager was really nice and worked with us on our stay. Super close to everything as well! Would stay there again!
I'm surprised that some of the reviews show 5 out of 5. We were a group of 6, booked 3 rooms and stayed for a night.
The reception was very friendly. We smelled Marijuana in the room and he offered us another room.
The rooms were not clean at all. The first room where I stayed, we noticed that there was a large stain on the bath towel, like moss, green and brown. It was gross! The second room where my friends stayed, they found a cockroach but was unable to catch it. The third room was so humid that the floor was all wet. It was slippery.
True, the rooms were not pricey. But honestly I would have paid a little more to stay in a clean room. I was misled by the reviews.
Also the location feels unsafe. We took Uber to the hotel and then took another Uber back after shopping. Both drivers told us not to walk around in the area at night.

I needed a room after midnight. I booked using Hotels.com app Only after calling the hotel and confirming I would be able to check in that night instead of 3pm after we would be traveling home. I got to the hotel and was refused a room
