This is an older but well maintained hotel conveniently close to I-75. The parking lot is well lit and the staff is friendly and accommodating. My room was spotless! It may have been old, but the mattress and pillows were very comfortable and clean. I especially want to give a shout-out to Mike who I spoke with over the phone to confirm late check-in, and Jessica the Office Manager who checked me in. Everything was wonderful and you can't beat the budget friendly price. I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel was excitingly not what we were expecting! We stay weekly in hotels my husband's work pays for and they have a super low budget so it's always a surprise when we get to the hotel. Well we were pleasantly surprised the king bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot and appeared to had recently been renovated, the pool was really nice and they keep their breakfast food out till 11AM. I also liked the 12pm checkout. It's located right off the interstate with anything you can think off need within 2 miles. The office staff was all super nice and helpful and overall we were extremely pleased. The only thing that would have made it better would have been hot breakfast they do have coffee, tea, packaged doughnuts, packaged muffins, instant oatmeal and grits and banana or oranges. Overall super pleased and will for sure stay there again.
Stayed in a single King bed room. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Small room, but it was completely fine because we were only there to sleep. AC worked, beds and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom needed a little more cleaning as far as the shower, but it was nothing crazy. I just bought some cleaner at Walmart and cleaned a little more. You can't beat the price. Centrally located to everything. Also, if you're arriving late, please be courteous of everyone who is sleeping. The walls are thin and you can hear everything outside. So keep your kids and yourselves with a low voice walking through the halls.
After leaving my prior hotel due to awful conditions I immediately had my mom book a room here because they were listed as pet friendly. However upon arrival there was a nice big sign listing “No pets allowed”. Now I have been driving over 18 hours I just needed a place for a few hours but the staff showed no empathy and refused to offer any support even though their listing claimed they were pet friendly. To my fellow dog owners I do not recommend!
Edit to add since the owner so rudely again wanted to show no empathy. I had been driving for over 18 hours (northern Michigan to Florida) at this point and had my mom book the room maybe 30 mins before we arrived. This wasn’t some reservation we had booked months in advance it was booked after our first hotel was a crack hostel and unsafe for a single female with mini dogs. You were advertised on Expedia (not my fault it was incorrectly listed, maybe you should look at getting that updated!!!!) as pet friendly and last I checked it is not safe to be on a mobile device while driving. Not only for myself but also other drivers on the road. Hopefully all pet owners can see that this is not a friendly establishment to our kind.
Stayed here on the way to Tampa Florida. Checked in early in the morning. Check in took less than 5 minutes. A few minutes later I accidentally locked the key in the room and got a new one no problem. Rooms are a little older but we’re very clean and it was a nice place to sleep. Shower pressure was amazing as well even though the shower was kind of smaller. Breakfast was definitely one of the best parts. It was grab and go but they had muffins, donuts, apples, bananas, oatmeal, grits, and a coffee bar. This was a step up to many other continental breakfasts. Perfect for a one night stay or a weekend
We got in super late, check in took less than 3 minutes, the front desk person was really friendly and helpful. Our room was super clean, beds were very comfortable, I slept like a baby. Got up this morning and had complimentary fresh coffee and donuts, nice hot shower, it was great! I would absolutely recommend this hotel and I'd for sure stay here again. It was great! Thank you so much!
We had a few problems with our room. But the hotel manager was more than accommodating she moved us several times and gave us a free night the owner was also very attentive and seemed to really care he instantly had staff working to fix the rooms for the next guests.
I stay here with my kiddos when we travel to Lake City monthly. The rooms are tiny and outdated but VERY CLEAN and the grounds are pretty clean as well. They have someone one the property 24/7 keeping watch which is a nice thing in my opinion. Also not far from many food chains/restaurants as well as I-75. Wonderful staff every time we have stayed! The breakfast baggies are pretty nice to grab in the am for a quick snack. All in all great value for the $$
