This is an old motel and didn't expect too much.
But the room was amazing! Clean, newly remodeled, and a very good job! We stayed in a handicap room the bathroom was very nice and well equipped.
The room new carpet paint everything you expect in a newer motel.
The price so very reasonable! I've stayed at another hotel in Iola for twice the price. But this will be my home when away from home now.
The owners live on site and are very courteous and nice.
I can't wait for my next visit.
Very dated rooms, but they do have coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators. The tops of the coffee maker and microwave were dusty. Blow dryer came apart coming out of the holder in the wall. No clocks in the room. But it wasn't a bad room. I'd stay there again.
Positive: This hotel is almost a three star, the room was clean and all lighting worked. Negative: The pool was closed and unkept, we would have enjoyed cooling off in the pool. The morning breakfast isn't adequate. We never ate there, went to Mcdonalds!

It was nice and clean. You can pull right up to your room.So no walking through long hallways, The staff was amazing. They did everything they could to MakeMyTrip better. That I appreciate and we'll go back again!
The rooms are very much outdated. The bed was super hard, I felt like I was sleeping on concrete. Parking was adequate. I never tried the breakfast. The wifi wasn't that great. I ended up using my cellular hotspot to stream my firestick. The location was great as it was within a few minutes drive of virtually everything in town. The staff was always friendly and helpful. It was nice to come back in the afternoons and see that the bed had been made, trash taken out, and fresh towels.
Although the rooms could use some updating, the people who run this place are very kind and helpful. I stayed here for several weeks while working. It was nice to come back late every day and find the bed made and trash taken out. The towels could use some fabric softener, but they were changed daily. Thank you for also keeping your prices consistent as I haven't had the same experience with other nearby hotels.
Rooms are OK. Price is good. The couple running the place are nice. Close to Walmart. Several places to eat close by. Their ice machine works.
Because of $ and location this was only choice of staying here.. They do NOT clean anything!! The microwave, fridge was filthy!! Shower & anything you touched has NOT been wiped off for LONG time.. the floors ewww!! Breakfast a joke.. lady had trash bags towels n few sheets on cart.. NO cleaning supplies. And was standing outside waiting on us to "clean" room. TV didn't even work.Guy came down unplugged TV reset and said there you go... did not fix problem..
