I travel with a larger group of people. We need 7 rooms which can be stressful to organize. We were caught in the last of the Helene hurricane storm and had to stop last minute. The lady at the desk was amazing and was very accommodating to any needs I had, which turned my stressful day around. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, very quiet. Felt safe even walked over to get some food next door at night. It’s a great location across from Walmart and a loves gas station next door. I don’t know why some of the bad reviews, my experience with all 7 rooms was fantastic. I will definitely stay here again.
Absolutely had zero problems with the apartment. Location is perfect,walmart across the street, Loves gas station right beside it,so can not complain about that. The rooms were nice, hot water in the shower,clean comfortable bed, nice TV, and very good wifi. Overall good experience on my end and would not mind going back myself.
Tried to get a room on 28 September with my dog. The lady said $87 plus $25 for dog. I said to much and about to leave. She said how much would I pay I said between $80-$90 she said something in foreign language and slammed window shut and locked it. Travel a lot down that road but I will never stop there again. It’s like buying a new car they will start out at the highest price and haggle with you. It’s not worth your time. Best to keep on going to New Albany MS. A lot nicer people at pet friendly hotels.
Positive: The room was clean. Negative: The stairs were slippery, I fell down when I was trying to leave and have major damage to my elbow.
If I could be negative number I would. The night host is a liar and will yell at you if you call her out on it. Had 2 rooms reserved and they canceled one and lied about it. Wanted us to pay for another after 2 were already paid for.
We were put in room #104, not even 15 minutes ago.....needless to say, we are back on the road and not stopping anywhere in Mississippi after that experience. First noticed the tiny pool was empty, construction vehicles were taking up 75% of the lot, all the lights were flickering, and there was caution tape all over the place. We still tried giving the inn a chance, but it was absolutely awful. The lady who checked us in was super nice, but when I opened that room door, the smell was horrific, a mixture of cigarettes (and other smoke), mildew, and body odor was overwhelming. Went to turn on the light, and the electricity didn't even work. The beds were short and small, and the floor was dirty from what I could see..... I shut the door, handed my husband the key, and told him we couldn't stay. They gave us a refund without question, but somehow they had no idea that there was no electricity.....unfortunately, because of this I can't recommend anyone stop here.
This is absolute garbage and not worth the price. Customer service was awful. The air conditioner was broke in our room. Didn’t feel safe. The lights outside flickered on and off constantly. Beds and towels weren’t clean and the room didn’t smell good at all. The receptionist chased us down and said she gave us the wrong room which worried me and I should’ve stuck with my gut and left at that time. DO NOT STAY THERE. The place should be shut down.
Surprisingly comfortable while being cheap. Will definitely come here if I come back through. Place is under renovations and is showing signs of age, but is better than other hotels I've stayed at going through the same thing.
