Great bang for your buck! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I locked myself out of my room twice and they were so sweet about it lol. They made sure my dogs and I got the end suite to make it easier to take them in and out. Will definitely stay again on my next road trip. Thank you so much!
Most of the reviews for this place are hit or miss, and whoever is responding to them is taking people's opinions personally, which they shouldn't. We stayed overnight and really enjoyed ourselves. Rooms were clean, with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The pool looked clean, but I didn't use it, but I'm not sure if it was available. The beds were comfortable, and the shower!! The shower head had such force that it could knock you out of the tub. ???? Breakfast was continental: fresh waffles, cereal, and boiled eggs. The only thing that I didn't like was there was no elevator. Having to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs can be bothersome, but it happens. The staff was friendly, minus the young houseman, he looked unhappy for some reason. One thing that's convenient besides being economical is that they're located about fifteen minutes away from the beach.
Food poison, bugs dirty sheets, and poor, disrespectful, and degrading service from the male owner of the hotel. Food is awful no good nor healthy choice foe breakfast
You would post my name and employer out of revenge. I was only speaking the truth. They say the truth hurts and that some don't want to change. Set in their ways. I didn't get mad about what floor I was on. It was the male owners' discriminating and disrespectful mannerisms and responding ways to your customers. Unacceptable as well as the hotel. You only have 2 floors so what's the big deal of the 1st or 2nd floor, all the rooms seem to be the same. You all ask what floor do I prefer. Great try.
Worst hotel. Smelled dusty upon arrival. Dirty and stained bed sheets and comforter. Dusty surfaces in room. Hot tub out of service. False advertisement on website. No laundry on site. Phone in bathroom broken. Two story hotel. No elevators for handicapped individuals. The refrigerator didn’t work well. It froze our food. Free breakfast contained some bread, oatmeal, coffee, boiled eggs, cereal, and fresh waffles. No fruit. :( Rooms are only serviced every other day per woman at front desk. The people at the front desk are kind but the hotel itself is less than 1 star. Thank you Clara for cleaning our room. You did a fantastic job. We appreciate you.
You get what you pay for. The bathroom in our room had seen better days, there were some stains on the towels and bedsheets, & the mini fridge was dirty and had leftover crumbs in it, but hey it was a quiet, relatively safe place to stay for the night especially for a small town roadside inn. And they charge more than the average inn/hotel for a dog deposit.
The breakfast was lacking. The only options were the waffle station and hard boiled eggs... Seemed like they have all of 2 people on staff doing all the work cause they don’t want to pay more for anything else. After all, this place is best VALUE not best quality. America’s Best Value Inn’s slogan should be “it’s good enough” because that seems to be their mentality.
OH AND TO ADD TO THIS: Upon looking further at the reviews, the owner’s responses are incredibly unprofessional to some of the negative reviews. There is clear evidence they lack accountability for their business and their response to my post and others truly proves my point. Everything is just “good enough”. If you can’t take negative reviews and improve and only take it personally, then you shouldn’t be running a business focused on customers.

But it was a shock to pay$25 each for my 2 dogs…. wish it’d had disclosed up front when I made the reservation. Since I paid for the reservation beforehand & it was not refundable I thought the extra $50 was a bit underhanded.
Place smelled funky as we walked in, paid more for an ADA ACCESSIBLE room and unfortunately it was NOT that. Room was okay but had stains on toilet , sheets and comforter. Also one of the bed side lights would not turn off at all. Had to sleep with light on the entire night. I would not stay here again. Go sleep somewhere else please.
We stayed here on our way from Arches to Capitol Reef. After spending the day hiking we decided to stop halfway since we were exhausted. We stayed there for one night and it was perfect for the purpose of our road trip. It’s small and quiet, service is also great. The continental breakfast options are not as many as other places, but is more than enough to keep you energized on the road.
