Best WLM Reviews

This is a filthy hotel and seems to be driven into the ground by a questionable owner and management. It's overly priced and not worth a second glance. Carpets are disgusting, you can't walk in there without shoes, there's always a cat piss smell in the main building, cops are always present, and it has an extreme amount of traffic from people who aren't even guests. Their offer of breakfast is a joke, and doesn't live up to any hotel standards and looks like it's run by a slumlord. Staff is heard quite often complaining about owners and management as well as other guests. I will say the housekeeping staff is very friendly and helpful, seems like they would do better under different management. The only good maintenance guy Matt, was extremely helpful and always willing to be of service, he was easier to find than front desk staff. The manager Teresa is the worst part of the hotel. She seems to disappear quite often, I overheard her giving out rooms to people under questionable actions regarding drugs, and had her child following her around a lot, it doesn't seem like a safe place for children. I felt completely unsafe, I wouldn't bring any child here and would not stay here ever again. The only reason I did was because someone else made a last minute reservation for me.
We booked 1 night stay and was disappointed to hear that when we arrived to check in (past the 3:00pm check in time) our room was not ready. ||We were dealing with Veronica and there was no explanation or apology from her about our room not being ready. She also didn’t provide us with an information when it would be ready and to come back later and she moved onto the next guest. Being that we are from another country and drove 7 hours it was disappointing and frustrating as we had no where to go and had to sit in our car while watching other guests check into their rooms. ||Later, at 4:30 we go back to check on the status and Veronica told us our room is still not ready. When we asked about the hotel policy and mentioned some compensation for the hassle and unpreparedness, she told us to wait to the side for the manager and was dismissive. We waited 15 minutes, no manager arrived and other guests were able to check in to their rooms no problem. Veronica then asked us our room number (we have no idea as we don’t have a room) but then said your room is ready and pulled a card out. We were furious as our room was ready the whole time we were standing there. ||This is unacceptable customer service. We paid an extremely inflated price at this hotel and the return service was awful. As a customer we are very disappointed in this establishment and our experience in how we were treated.
As an out of town guy this is one of the best affordable hotels I’ve stayed in. Room was clean and smelt nice. Staff was amazing. Good secure doors. All appliances worked great. 10\10 would stay again!!!
The room was fine. The staff on the other hand...no one is on the same page ever. I had random extra charges on my card over my extended stay. "Cash refunds" given. Yeah that never happened. Any time I tried to dispute anything it was just meant with argument despite me showing from my end everything was paid so where are these extra charges coming from???? On top of that the "owner" if he really is the owner he's a piss poor excuse for one pardon my French. He has no idea what is going on with his business and when I tried bringing everything to his attention I was met with "I don't have to understand anything" yeah good customer service there ???? anyway stay literally anywhere else
Stayed here after a concert because it was the cheapest option compared to the other hotels. Next time I’ll be paying double for sure. We didn’t get in until 45 minutes after the check in time at 3 which caused a bit of a rush to get ready and leave. It was really musty, most things barely worked, and I was seriously questioning the cleanliness. Not to mention the next morning the cleaning staff were hollering and talking to each other so loud over there vacuums at like 8:30, idk maybe this was to wake everyone up so they could clean…
I have been staying here for years when I come for work. This hotel has sweet staff and the rooms are clean. The staff has always made sure I was taken care of. Yes it is an older hotel but I will continue to stay here and I hope more will give this place a chance. Julian is one of the nicest employees here and Teresa is also a very professional and nice person.
The fridge was unplugged when we arrived so it leaked out when we opened it up. Microwave wouldn't work, room service never came despite 3 different attempts to get someone to change out the sheets (we stayed for a week) and our room was extremely humid no matter what we did to try remedying it. Cleaning ladies were talking smack about everything and everyone they encountered instead of actually helping any situation. They didn't know my husband spoke Spanish and tried talking bad about him and were very quickly confronted. Just messed up.
Run, don't walk away. So much wrong with this place I can't even begin to explain it. We were offered to go to a partner hotel in town not any better, that one was called the Knights inn or something like that. We couldn't get our money back, but there was no wat we were staying at either place.
