This is the worst place ever. If I could give zero stars, I would. Our room had bedbugs when we arrived, so we decided not to stay. They had a sign in the lobby that said, ‘30 minutes or less in the room, and you get a full refund.’ When we came back, they had taken it down. The owners are shady, rude, disingenuous, and scammers.
First, they tried to scam me by saying that my card would not be charged, but that was a lie. I had to call the booking company to cancel. I had to argue with the owners to get a refund on two rooms we didn’t even bring our bags into. The people who own this hotel are scammers running a fraudulent business. They charged me a $50 ‘cleaning fee’ for rooms that were not used.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL, NO MATTER WHAT. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Room had carpets that smelled of urine. Bathroom had missing tiles, and the ones there were sticky to the touch. Dead bugs on my "fresh" comforter, and CIGARETTE ASH on the "fresh" sheets. My roommates were a family of mice, and the occasional roach. Bathroom is small, with visibly dirty mirror at check-in. This room went for about 90$ per night rate.
Walking distance to several chain coffee and fast food, and Ling Lings Chinese Buffet.
Me and my friends booked it because it was our cheapest option, and we thought it couldn’t be as bad as we were expecting. However, it was way worse than what we anticipated. We checked the beds for bedbugs since the hotel didn’t seem to be in good condition. We ended up seeing signs of bedbugs on the bed. We didn’t bring our bags inside and just wanted to get a refund, but it turned into a nightmare. They argued a lot about the money we paid. In the end, they probably argued with us for about an hour, wasting our time, but they finally agreed to just charge the cleaning fee, which was 40 dollars. Next time I book any hotel, I would rather pay more to avoid bad service after this experience. I’ve even stayed in hostels and never had a similar experience in my life.
Charming reception staff. Great location. Although on main Street, room was quiet
Pros: clean. Fridge microwave convenience. Good size TV.
Con: small bathroom. A shelf would help for very limited counter space.
Positive: It was clean Negative: The TV didn't work.There were no cups in the room. Only one bar of soap. They did give me cups and soap when I went to the main lobby. There was no breakfast.
Bad surprise when I arrived and the receptionist told me that we wouldn’t have breakfast (which was already charged) because of a “technical problem”. Plus, the room smelled cigarette and some light switches weren’t working, do not recommend this hotel for its quality/price
Positive: Convenient to where we were visiting Negative: Wish there were grab bars in the shower to aid in getting in and out of the tub.Hotel site listed Breakfast and we did not find any breakfast offered.
Quiet room, clean and decent value that I can see. It's a place to sleep and shower, if you are like me, that's kind of the name of the game.
