NO BATTERIRS IN SMOKE ALARM!! NASTY n dirty tub; Giant cockeoach in bathroom! Floors hadn't been swept in a long time! Red-brown stain on hand towel. Spider webs on cabinets! Lumpy mattress. Room was musty. Nastiest room I've ever been in!!!
Before writing this, I read through the negative reviews that this motel received. I've got news for some of these guys. This is a low-budget, 2-star motel. One's expectations should be set in accordance with the rate you pay for a room.
Here's some more news. Toilets get clogged. Bugs exist everywhere. I recently stayed at The Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Tulsa. It is a 4-star hotel. There was a bug in the bathtub. Do you know what I did? I turned on the water and it went down the drain, then I went and played blackjack. What I didn't do was write a negative review and accuse the hotel of having a bug infestation.
For an affordable price, this motel provides a safe and comfortable room for a person to take a shower, watch some tv, and sleep. The rooms are air conditioned, clean, and have a microwave and a mini fridge. If you seek amenities beyond that, pay more money and stay in a more expensive motel.
I dont judge a motel by discrepancies I find. I form an opinion based on management's reaction to the discrepancies I make them aware of. The people who run this motel work hard and are dedicated to accommodating their guests in any way that they can to provide them with a quality experience.

The front desk lady was little to no help at all. At first she told me I did not have a reservation, H‑E‑B I showed he my confirmation she said, oh there it is. |Then she informed me that “THAT THEY DO NOT SETVE BREAKFAST!”|I tried to call the front desk three times letting it ring at least 10 times each call. She said it rang once and nobody was there when she answered it. I called because there is a light bulb missing in the lamp between the two beds. She did not seem concerned when I told her that the mirror above the bathroom sink is broken and the hair dryer is missing. (she did not offer to get me one to replace it) even after I told her I did not want to be accused of taking it (or worse charged for it after I check out. |The plug by the sink in the bath area does not work and the coffee pot looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a year, the stains on the side chair are so bad I won’t even put my shoes on it. |You could say there is a desk, but it’s more like a table, cuz there’s no chair. There is not one outlet to plug in my laptop and there are no outlets by the night stand for our phones or a clock. |The inside lock is hanging on by one screw and the curtains n look like they will fall apart if I try to move them. |I have stayed at Americas Best Value Motel in several locations but this place is the pits. |The reservation is NON-REFUNDABLE so we’re stuck here or out the $70 we paid for an $8.00 room. |We won’t be back to this location not ever.
Beware. These people were caught remaking bedding without washing it as we were checking out. Nasty place. Room was filthy.
A very shabby row of rooms. The TV remote did not work, I had to call the night manager and he came to the room and put the batteries in correctly, the battery cover was missing. The room coffee maker turned on but never heated any water to make the coffee. I asked the day manager, when I checked out, if I could have a cup of coffee because of the inoperative coffee maker in the room. He was not concerned, and his indifference reflected the poor condition of the room and likely the rest of the hotel. The air conditioner worked and the bed was comfortable. I did make a quick inspection for bed bugs seeing the initial room condition and slept with crossed fingers.
Always polite and respectful. Greets me with a smile and asks how I'm doing every single time I'm there. I wish I could afford to stay here regularly. Rooms are mostly clean and in good repair. The only complaint I would have is the parking lot is steep and you have to climb a couple stairs to get in the room. I'm disabled and walk with a cane. It's a little difficult to get to the room from the parking lot, but I'm able to make it. The last time I was there the young lady gave me 129, a room with 2 beds at the top of the parking lot; which made it a lot easier to get to the room.
I look forward to seeing her every time I'm there. She is such a pleasure to be around.
The front door to room didn't close all the way, flying insects all over the room, the water would not shut off in bathroom for the shower, stained couch and best of all No fire alarm in room it had the thing there to hold it but nothing else. When we checked out the lady was rude when told about the problems she said why are you telling me and walked away
First day there the toilet was already clogged and when they came to fix it they go”you put way too much toilet paper in there” like how is that possible if all we did was pee? We haven’t even used the toilet paper yet? We asked for clean towels and asked them if they could possible not have the housekeeping come by in the morning so we can get more undisturbed sleep, and something about that bothered the guy at the desk for some reason. Next day we need toilet paper and I called him and asked him if we can get some and he said “ you asked housekeeping not to come in the morning now you have to come get it” and he said it in a way like he was trying to teach some sort of lesson? I wasn’t expecting him to bring it but the way he’s so annoyed to do anything is very unwelcoming. He would rather be lazy in the office then tend to the guests, which there aren’t many of anyways so why not try and do right by the little guest that stay there? Very rude, lazy, and easily bothered.
