The staff was kind for the most part. Towels are small, room was really unclean. Stuff permanently gunked onto the floor and on the shower walls. On a positive it was cheap, there were no bugs. The microwave in the room did not work and the shower took anywhere from 45 minutes to 10/15 to warm up. One day it just would not get warm. The fridge worked and all the outlets were okay. Not horrible if you’re on a budget but maybe keep your socks on in the room.
I was due to arrive late on my check in so I called and a cool guy named Shaun answered and assured me everything was fine and that he’d be there until late. When I arrived he was courteous and gave me all the possible places I could eat and enjoy my stay. The room he gave me was nice. He made me feel at ease. I didn’t expect the best since it was a motel but the room was nice. I stayed there 3 days through Labor Day and wasn’t hassled or bothered. I barely noticed room service; I only saw them one out of the 3 days but they somehow managed to clean my room each day. The area looks kinda sketch but all was well.
I had the unfortunate experience of staying at America’s Best, and let me tell you, it was anything but the best. First, let's talk about the ridiculous $50 fee they tried to charge me for checking out at 11:30 AM. Yes, you heard that right—apparently, 11:30 AM is considered "late check-out" here. It’s clear they were just looking for an excuse to keep the $50 deposit. Absolute scam. But wait, it gets worse. The construction noise starting at 6 AM was obscenely loud. It felt like a jackhammer was right next to my bed. Sleeping in or having a peaceful morning is completely out of the question here. Honestly, do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. I regret every moment I spent there and will never be back.
It used to be one of my favorites places to spent the weekend. How ever the last 3 times we stayed here there has always been something like the rooms not been clean towels dirty with stains. And they always find something to keep the deposit. The guy at the front desk Jonathan went as far as to said we had a dog in the room because i quote it smell like dog and there was dog hair on the bed. This place used to have standars about people staying now it looks like anybody can come and rent rooms and have some fun by the music and noices in the rooms next to us. This is my first bad review and im hoping its the last because things like this just put your day upside down. Thanks America best value inn. And congratulations on the detective the found dog hair and dog paws inside the room.
These people are painting and remodeling with US in the room the fumes from the paint are unbearable it's roaches here the sheets are stained and towels I don't use any of their stuff not the coffee maker nothing. We had to sanitize the room the noise from the freeway is crazy the only thing likable about the room is I can walk to the store and laundry mat the room smelled of dogs and they have construction people walking around while we are supposed to keep the door open because of the wet paint letting in more flies and mosquitoes...the most depressing hotel ever!!!!who remodels with tenants still in the rooms then I asked to be moved to another room which was getting remodeled also so what was the point then on top of that They make you pay a deposit for what the rooms are horrible they can't get any worse
My husband and I woke up TWICE to one of the house keepers breaking into our room to watch us sleep. Apparently this is no accident or mistake because after we left I found some other reviews of people experiencing the same issue when they stayed here. When I brought this up to management they refused to do anything so it’s horrible that this is not the first time this was reported and they just let this house keeper continue to work for them and break the law and scare off guests. It was incredibly disturbing and scary. She was opening our door without knocking and just watching us sleeping in our bed and argued with my husband when he jumped out of bed to get her to leave us alone. Do. Not. Stay. Here. The staff has no manners and does not respect your privacy even though you are paying customers. They also advertise their pool which was the only reason we stayed here and they don’t even have it open for paying guests.
I have to say that this is the best place I’ve stayed the people are very friendly and the maintenance is awesome if you have a problem. One in particular JP is the best . He helps you even when he’s not working if you have a problem he’ll fix it. So well mannered and friendly and goes way beyond his duties I may just stay here forever. They really make it feel like Home and I would definitely say if you’re in the HEB area This is the place you want to be. And the pool is open come first swim. And thank you JP for your service.
May have low ratings for now but this place has been the best experience I have had. Tenant's and staff are friendly and easy going. Hurst police are great as well. You go Officer boothe. God bless. Safe travels to all. P.s. ac is great here quiet and works. Snacks up front
