Everyone else said it best: the rooms are filthy, there was what looked like dog kibble still sitting around, stains on the bedding and chairs, the hallways smelled of nicotine- and for a brief moment urine- and our bathroom door had trouble closing and wouldn't lock.
They don't check the drawers in the room either, that was very obvious with what we found inside the nightstand.
The beds are in fact very comfortable though and minus the stains were cleaned and presented nicely, and the breakfast is very limited, only two cereals that I saw and no protein options. We only spent like 60$ on the room, so I'm not too upset. I say you get what you pay for and if I needed another quick last minute booking, I might wind up here again and I'd hope it improved.
Rooms dirty, smell bad.
Floor, walls, and bed were vibrating from some unknown source: it was too loud to sleep.
Every 5 to 10 minutes, there us another sound, like a washing machine's rinse cycle.
Staff did not care: "you paid in advance, we have your money."
Another family walked out after 3 minutes in their room.
Strongly recommend this place be avoided.
The beds were fine, the cleaning was fine too, but the housekeeping woman came knocking on my door at 10 am asking me to leave, even though checkout is at 11 am. She was rude and ignorant, it seemed like she was angry with her work and with me. I will never go back to the hotel because of this woman. She ruined my trip with that bad look.
The hotel was very cheap and the service was very nice. Unfortunately, the rooms were underwhelming. The room was a bit cramped, there were barely any wall plugs, and the bathroom door was a little annoying to use. But for $70, these are sacrifices that are willing to make, as this is the price for 2 queen size beds, meaning they could be cheaper for others. The breakfast does seem a little early, as it ends at 9, but the for itself is nice, and it's about on par with what I usually get for almost twice the price. Overall, it's a nice hotel to stay in for a short while by yourself or with your family.
Understand you get what you pay for, but when we paid $85 for our room, we at least expected to have a working bathroom door. The door was off its hinges and when we approached the receptionist she was totally nonchalant about it and knew the door was an issue before we even checked in. There was no apology for the inconvenience or notice when we checked in. Was quite disappointed with that.
On top of that there were multiple stains on the bed and the towels in the open concept bathroom. Would not return.
The room wasn’t cleaned at all. The headboard had beer tops on it, the sheets were dirty, the tub was dirty, the shower curtain has mold on it and so do the wall. I know this isn't an expensive hotels and you get what you pay for but I know they have enough money to buy more shower curtains for each room. I have ocd so I’m freaking OUT!! I asked to change my room and of course she said I couldn’t I paid 150 for two nights and I want to be comfortable and I can’t. And also the maintenance guy came in cleaned the room, he was really nice and polite. I have two more nights here ughh.
Honestly, I wouldn’t even give it a star, but you have to. AC didn’t work at all. Had to clean the tub myself so I could shower. Had a double bed room and both sets of sheets had stains of something unknown. One bed had what looked to be a streak of blood on the fitted sheet. Got bit by a bug and have a pretty good welt on my leg from it. 10/10 do not recommend.
Let it be known that this hotel requires a 150.00 deposit before check in, and only applies to Fargo and Moorhead residents!! Because of this new requirement I had to sleep in my vehicle last nite as I didn't have the money for the deposit!!!
