I have not one bad thing to say about this place not one. Great housekeeping greater staff just all around a great place to staff to stay
It's a room. To be pretty simple about it. If you need a place to sleep then... Sure. Our hotel room was dark and kind of dingy but it was clean and the sheets were fresh at least. The mattress was firm, which I liked, but the blankets were thin and the pillows kind of small. We were in a two double and each bed had two pillows. The bathtub was incredibly slippery though, and we didn't receive any conditioner, just shampoo. The room was also dusty enough that I found someone who wrote in the dust and itt had gone unnoticed which... I honestly found kind of funny so I'm not really upset about it but for those who do care: you might have a dusty room.
We stayed one night which is probably what made this easier to deal with, the price was pretty low too. We didn't interact with staff much but they were nice and answered whatever questions I had. I was told there would be free breakfast when looking into this place, there was not. A massive disappointment since this was toward the end of our trip and we needed to keep things cheap.
My total experience was less than great, but it's clean and you can rest here. I just wouldn't stay for more than a day and will likely be staying somewhere else if I ever pass through Evansville again. I wouldn't completely knock this place though, if you need something quick and cheap for the night, you'll have kind staff and clean rooms and sometimes that's all you need.
No conditioner, no breakfast despite being told there would be, some of the outlets were pretty janky and loose. We heard a scream at one point although I can't guarantee it was from inside the building. The beds were actually comfortable to me personally as I like firm mattresses. No bed bugs! The whole place does smell like stale cigarettes since it used to be a smoking building though.
Decent room for the price. Certainly better than the fleabag motels dopewhores turn tricks in but not as nice as most other over-priced Extended Stays. No saunas, no indoor pool or useless work-out room/indoor gym, but with a price tag at less than a hundred bucks I'm just fine with that. Friendly staff. No bugs (that I saw). And they even have washer/dryers and no pesky maids constantly asking if you need a towel. Very Satisfied.
Only slept here but pretty shabby place even for a night. I paid $57 but should’ve paid the extra $10 to stay a mile away near the mall. Checkin was fine but that’s about it. They do minimal maintenance and it’s so outdated and smells in common areas. My room was hot bc air was turned off when I came in. Bed was only decent part. Right next door to the Pony strip club. Has a pool but wasn’t opened or filled yet during my stay May 17.
Clean by the looks of it. But you can never really tell. Probably be better if as a guest you knew when the bedding and sheets were cleaned. Upon arriving and checking in the front desk lady, made it a point to say no smoking its a state law. Which wasn't an issue we don't smoke but when we get to our room our bedding had cigarette burns in it. So 1 stars for a two star hotel. Not really worth the 140$ spent on the room for one night. Also find it odd that when you call to reserve a room, it costs more than reserving it online being that online it was 50$ a night.
I tell anyone that wants to book this hotel DON'T, The carpet was filthy, They don't clean the rooms. I had to go and get the towel and wash cloths myself and the room smelled like a dirty carpet. When it rained it leaked into the room and, the carpet was all wet. They moved us to a new room after my husband demanded half our money back. They say you get what you pay for but man. Oh and the kicker is it's right by a strip club, you could throw a rock and hit it. Not kid friendly.
This motel had the best service at the low rate in all of Evansville, IN. Their service was great and the desk service staff was happy to help and accommodate around my disability. Their handicapped room is exceptional, and well maintained. Especially, the handicapped bathroom was big enough to roll a wheel chair and more; also the tub had accessory so a handicapped person could easily take a shower. This was the best motel room experience I have encountered in a while.
