I would highly recommend this place for the convenience and service. Mrs. A, one of the owners, was so sweet and kind at the check out. Although the check-out was easy and didn’t require contact, as I was doing so, she went out of her way to offer me coffee. As a good halfway point between Tuscan and Phoenix, they provided a perfect location and at an affordable price. As other reviews stated, the room was very clean. While I didn’t use them, the mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc were all located conveniently in my room, something that was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, they have a basket that’s arranged with the towels and toiletries that was well done and added charm to the space too. I didn’t feel unsafe with my room, the door had a solid deadbolt, plus the metal door lock thing that usually sits at eye level and allows you to open the door slightly but not all the way. Frankly, the rooms have the safety of a standard American home’s front door but one step further. Finally, since the bed was firm, it makes sense people would mention that in their reviews. However, I’ve been in firm, comfortable beds before, and I’ve been in hard, uncomfortable beds. At this place, the beds are definitely on the firm yet comfortable side, so much so that I would rate the bed I slept in much higher than the standard hotel.
Rooms were clean and updated. Bed was firm. Staff was absolutely wonderful. They were true life savers when I was stranded. I was pleasantly surprised. Walking distance to fast food, restaurant, and convenient store.
For a budget hotel, this place is fine. Room a little tired, but did not smell of cigarettes, no sketchy people around. The proprietors are very friendly and trying hard to make the hotel successful.
Please dont stop un this place is the worst place 130 for a 2 beds room no breakfast no wifi the beds are hard as a rock the ac make noises and didnt cold much it was a horrible smell like a cigarrets the window was open when we got there and tv on I dont know why I thouth someone was in the room.
But the guy in the front desk was nice.
Let's start with the door to the room being open before I got to it. It was full of mosquitoes! And to top it off..NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER! Will definitely not recommend it to anyone. Will definitely NOT be staying there again. The wifi only worked if you were standing outside of the office. The ONLY good thing about the place was the next nice lady that took over my check in process from the incompetent boy that began it.
I dont recoment this place. The Internet is not working, The ac make a bad noise and didnt cool much, The beds are hard as a rock, and the rooms are old oh and the tv have just like 3 channels and you need to move the antena.
Theres no breakfast and charged $125. If you have options please go to another place.
Rooms had a very strong smell . No hot water and bed was way to hard
Positive: The place definitely needs some love. But the room was immaculate and the many accent touches, lights and outlets everywhere, decorative towel holders, quality toiletries, CLEAN working frig and microwave, and fruit/coffee/snacks in the ofc made it ok. Negative: It's right along the highway so if you need a quiet spot, this isn't for you. The internet is poor but the office let's you know that upon check-in. Negative: ""
