Positive: Nothing Negative: Been in a lot of crappy motels, but this one was easily the worst. Lights outside doors were too dim to read the room numbers. Lots of shady characters in the parking lot openly selling. No lights in the room except in the bathroom. Cockroaches.
If I could give this hotel ZERO stars I would. Where do I start? First of all, I had looked through THREE different rooms. The first two were smoking rooms, and boy I could tell why. The smell was so over powering of cigarette smoke it immediately made me nauseous. AND not to mention my sister I was traveling with was PREGNANT. I mentioned to them multiple times her condition and how we could NOT stay in a room with cigarette smoke. The beds had cigarette holes and burns all over them, the blankets and sheets had food crumbs and stains everywhere, the floors had hardened food and drink stains the bathrooms were filthy and there were stains and bugs in the shower. I requested a refund after looking at the first two rooms and the hotel manager (who was extremely rude) told me “if I was smart I would look at the third room he has to offer” which was his “nicest room” I told him I wasn’t interested and kept insisting saying he would NOT give me a full refund he said “you don’t have to be smart with your money but if you were you would stay here” after looking at the third room. Which was FILTHY and still stunk of smoke. I took my HALF. a refund and RAN. I feel lucky that I didn’t catch bed bugs from this disgusting place the manager is almost as trashed as this “hotel”. Please shut down
Some pros and cons. The gentleman at the front desk had a kind demeanor and seemed happy to help me out and check me in. I appreciated that.
I rated 3 stars because
1) the bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned. I found a few hairs and also a used face towel, however it wasn't too bothersome for me. Everything else seemed really clean.
2) The room smelled of smoke even though it was a non smoking room.
3) The towel hanger was missing.
4) I wished the bath towels were bigger
Otherwise, the room looked charming. I liked the brown furniture. Old style. The overall look of the room reminded me of a vintage hotel you'd find in a 60s movie or something like that.
I appreciated the microwave and mini fridge. Working AC. The clean and tidy beds. It felt comfortable and safe.
The first room was absolutely disgusting and should have been illegal to sell. There were roaches that scattered at the opening of the door. There were stains on the walls, carpet and furniture. The bed was broken and dirty and it felt so unsafe. I tried to get a refund but they couldn't till the manager came at 8 am the next day. I was moved to a different room that wasn't as awful but still not exactly clean. There were stains on tbe floor and the mirror so housekeeping didn't even bother trying to clean. The bed was hard and super uncomfortable. Didn't dare sleep under the covers. Housekeeping came while we were out and thank God we took our belongings with us because we didn't ask for Housekeeping. You could barely tell they came because there was still the same bedding and same stains as before. Trash was still there.
Upon checking in. I was told I had to pay a deposit of $50. The lady at the front desk said I could pay by card or pay in cash, she said if I paid cash I would get it right back after checking out. I had 3 20’s and I’m guessing she didn’t have change, so she said $40 was fine. The room smelled like stale cigarettes, the beds were not comfortable at all. The next morning I woke up to big bites all over me. I went to the front desk to complain and no one was available. We had another 2 nights booked. We got an air bnb, for the other 2 nights. Went back to get the deposit and they said they had no record of it and I’d have to talk to a manager about it. Do not stay at this hotel it’s a complete dump!
Positive: The staff were just wonderful!! They made my stay so meaningful and helpful! Negative: The property itself could use some renovation but the rate was good so I am not complaining! There is some freeway noise but the location is also convenient to many places, with easy freeway access, so it really depends on how you choose to see it.
This was the worst hotel I ever been in. They had roaches, If you get a room make sure it’s not a smoking room because they take a little more care of the non smoking rooms. The smoking rooms look like they haven’t been fully cleaned or shampooed in years. And another thing if u have to stay there don’t take any of the rooms to the back, at night women come threw there knocking on doors trying to sell they body’s for money.. I have 2 kids & that still didn’t stop them, 1 staff member that was on duty didn’t even want to give me another room knowing I had kids.. they need to shut this hotel down and really take the money that they are making and put it into the hotel… then they even had the audacity to ask for a $50 holding fee.. I beg you don’t go here
This was the most horrible room I've ever seen in my life. Cigarette burns all over the comforter mixing drawers no phone smelt like stale smoke. The floor wasn't vacuumed bathroom floor had boot prints on it. It was a nightmare. And the manager wouldn't give me a refund. Don't waste your time money or energy.
