Service is horrible,the room had garbage in it upon arrival. The beds where filthy like they had been made without washing the bedding. Paint is horrible,TV was broken,bathroom fan made a noise with a leaking toilet. When ask for a refund they would not provide one. They offered to move rooms and the next room was in the same condition with cockroaches crawling on the floor ,and wall when the door was opened.
As this was the only hotel in the area that would accept our dog, we checked in. The place was not in good condition. Paint was peeling off the walls and doors. The toilet was loose on the floor. The furnishings were dated. However, the room smelled clean. I feared for bugs of any sort but did not see any. We only stayed one night and were gone at 6 am. I had encountered three people who looked like owners or the family. It would seem that they should take better actions to improve the hotel if this is their livelihood. Overall, the night was ok, but I would prefer not to stay there again.
So I got a room and I was chilling then a roach came out of no where we told them and they said “yeah they will be there every now and again” no. Then I was laying on the bed and the bed was so hard and uncomfortable, here comes another roach on my charging cord so I called them and asked for my money back then I left.
Well at first they gave us a room with no ac and microwave full of food, but they fixed it and gave me a room that actually had no problems was clean and everything worked, if u need a place to stay andshort on funds I would recommend this place over many others I've been to
This place is okay if you're on a budget. However, don't believe what you read on the website. There are no irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, the phones aren't connected, there is no HBO service. I don't know about the fax or copier services. And if you need your refrigerator defrosted in winter months, well, don't hold your breathe! There are some good points. The housekeeper is friendly and will go out of her way to make your stay clean and comfortable. They spray for roaches and if by chance you end up with an uninvited furry creature, they furnish baited traps. Management tries to keep the place quiet and reputable, but as with all places, you'll comes across neighbors who want loud parties, call the office and they'll close the party down. And the police are right across the street if someone just out of prison happens to threaten you or someone you know. This place is right by the railroad tracks so you get to hear the wailing horn of each passing. I quite enjoy that. All things aside, it's a lot better than paying the outrageous fees these other motels/hotels charges. This is the cheapest place in Dayton, TN.
I travel a lot due to my work I stay there off and on the beds are very comfortable and great prices friendly staff ???? but at the same time I have seen several roaches in my room and killed them the maid they use is really not that good of a hotel cleaning person it gets loud at times a person can smell pot smoke around rooms and even inside the room where they stay at the bathroom is crap and the toilet is very loose from the floor and the toilet tank as well and the lid and the location in my book is awful but that isn't the hotel fault
Very convenient for when my Husband & I was working 3rd shift at La-Z-Boy & way to exhausted to drive almost 2 hours all the way home.
Would like to say "staying at this place was like living next to a crack house". The pics seen on the website are VERY misleading. I was afraid to touch anything !!! Upon pulling up I noticed that someone had a charcoal grill inside their room cooking and they later pulled it out and put it outside their room. The other people we seen who must have been living there looked like meth heads. The room itself was dreadful and nasty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Once again the pics on the website are misleading.Word of advice.....don't do it. Run as fast as you can.
