Super convenient and clean with an indoor pool! Staff was great, especially Cora. We were only 30 min from the A&M campus, and there were lots of great places to eat within a mile of this hotel (check out Daisy Dukes BBQ and Nonnie's Bakery for sure!). The rooms need a little updating (and sound proofing) but other than those things we really loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. Thank y'all for the warm welcome and enjoyable stay!
Very friendly people that were available to help me when my car broke down in Caldwell. I was always greeted by a smile from all of the employees and they gave me a deal on the room I stayed the night in. The room was fine to me it did the job. Larry gave me a great little pep talk as I was checking out. His energy made me day
Will NEVER stay here again. We had a Do Not Disturb/Privacy sign on our room door. It was ignored. Whoever entered our room to "clean" went through every single bag we had. Stole minor things like my make up and my daughter's make up,ate my kid's candy & snacks and left the trash, opened my daughter's prescription contacts and just left them on the counter. No cleaning was done. I have pictures. Not sure if he was the manager but the man on the night shift at the front desk said he'd look into it. Went back in the morning and he said he would talk to the employee. When my husband asked about compensation the guy said he'd pay to replace the stolen items to "make it right." That was it. Didn't offer to compensate the room for the inconvenience of everything. Nothing, except I'm sorry. I guess nothing can replace the violation of privacy. Only reason we were forced to stay that night was because there was nowhere else to stay. College Station was all booked because of the football game. Save yourself the trouble. Please find somewhere else. 1star or it wouldn't let me post a review.

I understand you're trying to run a business but it's very unprofessional that you are now calling my family & I liars.
Larry one of the front desk people has such a welcoming demeanor. He always has a smile on his face and provides great customer service. The rooms are spotless clean. Indoor swimming pool and breakfast as well. I give it a 5 out of 5
This place is truly the epitome of you get what you pay for. My partner & I came to Caldwell from Houston due to the prolonged power outages from hurricane Beryl. Let me say, we were pleased that they allowed dogs but that was the only plus. Upon entering the room, there was a strong mold smell. There were tiny roaches literally everywhere. I swear we would kill one and another would appear. Our room had 2 queen beds and both beds had human hair on the sheets & holes in the blankets. The toilet paper in the restroom had pink mold on it so we fortunately unwrapped the spare roll only to find it also had pink mold on it. To top it off, my partner spoke to the front desk & his response to our complaints was “many people stay here.” My partner & I ended up leaving a day early and just eating the cost.
I understand this is a 2 star hotel & we were clearly not booking for luxury but be cautious!
Mr. Larry was beyond amazing and accommodating when we arrived. We were evacuating Beryl and it had been a very long day. He went above and beyond to make sure we got two rooms as quickly as he could with an amazing attitude the entire time. My sister and I arrived with two older handicapped family members. He made it happen. Thank you so much Mr. Larry for being such a bright light at the end of a long day.
Worst hotel to stay at. There are roaches, breakfast only had waffles and cereal. The ac kept turning off and would not stay on. Had a gentleman come look at the tv and ac. The tv would not let you change channels stays only on one. The tv remote did not work he had to go get a different one then after leaving the tv still did not work. My air pods are showing there as the last location and typical the house cleaners kept them and did not turn them in. Manager said for me to call back tomorrow to check, which he should be the one the call. Not professional at all but I guess it’s Caldwella finest there.
Pics on line are deceiving. Rooms and amenities are a lot worse. Also got a dose of bed bugs. Lousy unfriendly service. Noisy beds and even the tub made made popping noises when showering. Overall nasty place to stay. Never again.
