Only positive is the proximity to UGA. Booked a smoking room to save a little money and the smell was so thick I gagged repeatedly the first night, and the first morning walking to campus I threw up. When I checked in the staff was pissed that I wanted them to check me in and made me stand in the rain for 10 minutes before acknowledging I was there. Room had 3 outlets all but one were not functioning or even fastened to the walls. Unless your only other option is sleeping on a bus stop bench DO NOT STAY HERE.
I booked my room for 2 nights. Come 11:30am while we were still sleeping the owner was beating on the door telling us to get out. He argued with me about the 2 days until he finally looked at his paper as I was pulling up hotels.com. He was very unapologetic and was down right rude. Later on that day the female owner stopped by to give us more towels and was very rude about us moving a table so we could play board games. There was a hole in the floor next to the window under the carpet that was very dangerous and eventually someone is going to fall through it. I do not recommend staying here. The owners are down right rude and the place is run down and gross!!!
Rude and condescending owner. They will put you in a smoking room even if you request non smoking unless you call them directly beforehand to tell them to put you in a non smoking one. And then the male owner will give you an attitude. Even then my room REEKED like cigs and B.O. It was clear they never cleaned the room - spiders and spider webs everywhere, stuff left on the floor from a previous guest so you know they didn't clean the floor, stains of unknown origin everywhere, rusty and unclean fixtures, broken desk chair, broken desk. I don't think they even changed the sheets because there was hair on them of different types suggesting the hair was from multiple different people. What looked to be cut beard hairs on the back of the toilet. Leaky shower. Ants. Thin windows that didn't block any of the outside sound, same with the walls. Judging by the other reviews and their near non existent cancellation policy, they are RUNNING A SCAM!! DO NOT GO HERE!
I can’t think of anything positive to say about this place. It smells bad like it’s moldy. The blanket that I had to look for had burn holes all in it. The site says there’s breakfast but they don’t even have coffee. Don’t recommend this place.
The price is too expensive for this room, as you can see in the photos, there was nail trash on the carpet. It was not exactly the same as the photos on the website. The room was very noisy because of the upstairs. For these reasons:
Low level of cleaning, lack of breakfast, not sufficient soap and shampoo, etc paying 103 dollars per night is too expensive
Worst motel I’ve ever stayed at in my life!! First it wasn’t $86 a night like how it says on google but $120 but that wasn’t the problem the motel has sketchy people outside and the air is terrible I felt super unsafe.The rooms are terrible dirty,dark with very little lighting,blankets are paper thin,shower sucks,stains on everything. Probably had the worst experience and sleep of my life.literally couldn’t wait for it to be the next day to get out of there!
One of the best motels I have been to I only say motel because it's not high scale but it's no roaches that I've ever seen, no bedbugs, shower is clean, microwave and refrigerator are always working, cable works and had the best channels! Definitely recommend!! It's close to downtown and UGA definitely a plus!
Worst stay I've ever had by far. Usually don't leave reviews but I'm on business from New York and found bed bugs under the mattress since I read the other reviews I thought I would check. I Went to the front desk to ask about it and the gentleman gave me a new room. Going into a new room it was worse then the first regarding cleanliness and everything in between with bed bugs, filthy mattresses and was beyond outdated. On top of all this he stole my air pods when I left them behind in the first room when going to talk about the bed bug issue and going to the new room before walking out immediately to let him know. I am now at the best Western around the corner and they told me that this has happen more than he'd like to admit with travelers staying at that hotel. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to say. The staff is better off with no one ever staying here and then getting shut down forever. Shocked this place is still open. You've been warned!
