So I stayed 3 days and I wanted to put down my experience here. It was a nice inn and overall I enjoyed the stay, but there were a few strange things I experienced. First of all was the amount of yelling. On 3 separate occasions I heard men yelling. It seemed either they were having a fight with someone, or maybe they were high off something and screaming at nothing. I honestly have no idea, but it was concerning. At one point someone was screaming about "the force of the devil will come after you" or some such. Very strange. Needless to say, the walls are very thin. I also heard two other people having sex in the room next to me, so that was .. fun. Anyways, I relatively felt safe here, but there was a point at 2am I heard a police officer on a megaphone say something to someone about "this area is being recorded and you are on this property," something along those lines. Pretty spooky. So we can say the area is a bit shady, but I found the people usually minded their own business when I was out and about. I paid 55 per night, when I originally thought I would pay $32 which is what Google Maps told me, but then I was told I had to book ahead. Alright no problem. The shower was nice and hot and relaxing, the microwave worked. It had a lock function on it? Which was different. The lights all worked. Another thing that did not work was the door handle. I had to insert my key multiple times to get the lock to click. Originally I thought the first key I received was just a dud, but then I was like... Yeah it's probably just the lock. Got another key from the front desk person, he offered to go to the room to help me out (very nice guy), he told me I would just have to try it a few times. Got it to work. I enjoyed the stay, but I am hoping these things I wrote can somehow be improved upon. There's not much you can really do about some weirdos yelling, but maybe the locks can get changed. Semi broke down in Amarillo We were there three nights. A little run down, but clean. Front desk was super friendly! Pet friendly. Comfortable enough, but bring a blanket. Heat and A/C worked fine. Shower was hot with good pressure. Not a 5-star hotel, but perfect for our needs.Truck and trailer parking available on site.
Skip this one and find a better hotel, Housekeeping will be banging on your door an hour before check out! They said they do it now everyday, I’m never coming back here. Very ghetto, don’t recommend!
Positive: Nothing other than the location Negative: Yes I had roaches crawling all over the sinks beds and floors all over the place I would have liked if the shower was clean too as it was very dirty
The rooms are clean the place is quiet and the price is reasonable. But Ms Jenny and Ryan Ray two of the employees are what made ny stay unforgettable ???? Thanks America's best
Friendly staff, efficient check-in process. Arrived later and appreciated their quick process. After a long day of travel, much appreciated. Room had the AC nice and cold before I walked in. Easy stay so thank you!! Direct access to main highway was a plus for someone who wants to get back on the road.
I would just like to say that, Jenny, and Ryan R. literally saved my life! Thank You Both so very much for pulling me back up and onto my feet when I starting to lose all hope in humanity. You guys are the best! And I can't hardly wait to pay you back for helping me. Thanks guys.
