Best WLM Reviews
By far the worst, most nasty hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life and I travel a lot. I meet the staff at the front desk who barely speak English and can hardly understand. Next I walk into the room which they claim is the only one available when I passed by several other vacant rooms up to the third floor. As soon as I open the door I’m greeted by the smell of old cigarettes even though it was supposed to be a non-smoker room. One of the bed headboards was sheered off the wall and there was what seemed to be old, moldy food in the crevice of the detached headboard. I thought, okay, this is crappy but it was cheap for a weeks stay so okay. Later that night I was greeted by a lone roach scurrying along the wall which got my attention so I went over to the mini fridge area and pulled back the stained, detached carpet and to my dread, found about 20-30 roaches of all different sizes darting under the carpet and into a hole in the wall. Assuming they would leave me alone in my sleep, I awoke to multiple roach bites on my hands, feet, and on my genitals. This was unacceptable in every way possible. When I complained they simply did not care or even act surprised. I intend to make a full report into this with the county health department for these deplorable and inhumane conditions. Bottom line, do not stay here unless you want to be greeted with foul smells, broken and stained furniture, and become a midnight snack for cockroaches munching on you’re balls.
If you are on a tight budget, and do not care about addicts hanging around, book a room here. Booked back in April, and they lost the reservation. Our first room wasn't even clean and no exaggerating, the tub had cigarette burns all over it. Middle of July and the pool is closed. The stairs need some repairs. Spend the extra 40-50 bucks on a good, safe room somewhere else.
We had 3 different rooms, 3 couples, we came in to ride the Dragon. We booked the rooms online and we was told they don’t show our reservation and they are going to go ahead and find us some rooms. By management he “upgraded” our rooms. I’m not exactly sure what kind of upgraded we got, room 1 when we walked in smelled of smoke (non smoking) bed is ridiculously nasty, bathroom around the tub cigarette burns, holes in ceiling, and while we was trying to sleep there was a mouse in the wall that scratched all night long. I got no and I mean zero sleep last night. Room 2, two full size bed “upgraded” again room filthy, same issue with the bathroom (cigarette burns around tub) room had a roach on the wall. Room 3, “upgraded” same cigarette smell, there was hair in the bed. When they called the front desk and asked for new sheets they was told they didn’t have any. Was told per management that he should of told him when they first got there. Who looks at the bed and sheets when they first get a room? I did tell the woman at the front desk about the mouse and she did not act concerned. Do not get a room here!
My husband and I were spending a few days away from home, nowhere in particular to go, and we were very tired by day's end and just wanted a good night's sleep. I searched for a place on my phone and saw that this place was conveniently located and was the name of a place we had stayed before (NOT knowing the name had changed). When we arrived, we just decided to stay anyhow. The room looked okay to begin with, but the longer we stayed, the worse things got. We probably killed 20+ little bugs on the floor! Dirty cobwebs in the corners of the room. Furniture was stained. Cigarette burns on the side of the bath tub in what was suppose to be a non-smoking room. TV didn't work, but we were too tired and it was late so I didn't contact management. I checked the sheets and they appeared to be clean, so we tried to sleep. The rooms had thin walls....a thunderstorm woke us around 2:30 am, and being across the road from an airport, we could hear the planes coming in and taking off. We left the next morning ASAP and not a moment too soon for us! If that was the only place to stay for the night, next time I would sleep in my car!
This place was horrible! The first room they put us in (a non smoking room) stunk like smoke and like mariguana. It was so bad we asked to change rooms, the second room wasn't much better. It smelled of smoke and when you stepped into the tub it had water under the tub itself. When you move in it it ripples like walking in water. All the blankets and sheets had cigarette burns on them. There were also cockroaches. The night front desk person was nice, but the day guy wasn't so much. He watched me get coffee and made comments on the amount of powdered creamer I used(I guess I was limited even though I didn't get much). All in all I would stay clear of the place. I wouldn't stay thete again for free let alone paying.
It was awful! There were roaches! Also had nasty carpet and old uncomfortable, squeaky beds. There was a large gap under the door for the bugs to come in. The worse part was that there was only one wash cloth for 2 people and when we ask the front desk for one more he was very rude and said he could not give us one then told my husband he was not allowed to walk outside with his shirt off. We had just left the pool! This place was a nightmare!

The rooms were very very clean! Staff was helpful, although the rooms were older, they were very well taken care of. The wood floors looked amazing and super clean. I couldn't believe how well they were kept.
