We reserved a room on December 2nd through the 4th but ended up leaving on the 3rd because our stay was so bad. Should have known when checking in that there were going to be problems. Were allowed to check in on the app as a feature it offered, and 3 pm was listed as a check in time. When getting to the hotel, we were told that we couldn’t check in until 4 pm. The manager of the hotel even told the guy at the front desk that “we could wait, and that there was no early check in until they were done doing what they needed to do.”||||So thank God that I didn’t offer to pay for early check in because that would have been money wasted. She wasn’t very welcoming which you would think a hotel manager would be since you are going to be renting a room off of them. Upon getting into our room, I noticed that the toilet paper looked like it had been dropped in the toilet and then just sat back to the side for someone to use. Went back to the office to mention this to her and she just made it sound like I was making things up. Picture included so that you can see what you think for yourself.||||Other issues with the room that led to our early check out was the room was infested with cockroaches, pictures of that included. The manager didn’t seem to care about that either when it was mentioned that it was the reason we were checking out. She basically just said, “oh well.’||||The free internet that was offered as an amenity was basically useless as well. Tried and tried to connect to it but just wouldn’t even though the lobby could use it. When asking about it, we were told that we were just in one of the rooms that had a problem connecting to the modem and that the only thing we could do was go through the process of getting changed to a different room. And that would possibly not even fix the issue.||||Went down at night to check out and the front door to the lobby was locked even though it is supposed to be open 24 hours. Another couple was sitting in their car waiting for someone to come check them in. Had to call the manager to let them know we were leaving. And the other couple told us they had to call the cops because they had already reserved a three night stay at the hotel and the manager wouldn’t come and check them in, told them to go to another hotel because apparently they got rude with her. Made a statement that the cops even referred to the place as a dump, and I have to agree. We’ve stayed here many times, and I believe this is definitely going to be the last time we stay. We’ll never stay here again, and don’t recommend it to anyone after this stay. Very sad it’s attached to wyndham.
The room was clean and smelled good. The bed was comfortable and very clean. Had plenty of pillows. Temperature control was great, heat and air both worked good. Very hot water and had great water pressure. Our only complaint is the toilet could use seat with a lid.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. There were so many issues from the moment we arrived, I should have turned around and walked out. When we went to check in, two other guests were already at the front desk, and their complaints were shocking. One was saying they found someone already in their room, while the other was talking about the door handle and lock falling right off their door! I thought it couldn’t get worse, but unfortunately, it did.
After finally getting our room, I realized that I would not be getting the one night of sleep I desperately needed. The room was absolutely filthy. The bed sheets had noticeable stains, and I even saw small baby roaches around the room. That was the last straw for me. When we went to ask for a refund, we overheard other guests mentioning bed bugs in their rooms. I cannot stress this enough: Do not try to save a little money by staying here. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
Travelers Beware!!! Truly a horrible experience! Firstly the staff was incredibly rude upon arrival, the door didn’t lock, the shower went cold after 2 seconds, holes in the walls and comforter, towels were dirty upon arrival. If you’re looking for a cheaper hotel in this area please don’t settle for this one! Hotel Pigeon Forge is a great budget friendly hotel in the area and much cleaner.
Worst trip I’ve ever experienced!! Couldn’t even stay there and now all of a sudden their phones aren’t working. When we got there we went into first room there was no power, then the second there was cockroach’s in bathroom with hair on bedding so we made them give us another room and it had cockroaches. So of course after driving 3 hours we were very angry and just decided to go back home because that ruined it for us! They are refusing to refund our money as well. ALSO PICTURES ARE FALSE ADVERTISING!
Well the first night we found that the tv remote was broken, shower head was broken. Then the drain was not draining it all. The floors was dirty and some of the ac buttons was broken. The mattress was definitely not it. And it could have been better. I get it but yeah. Second night we got in from the strip we had taken showers and it took forever for the water to heat up and once it got hot it would go back to cold and back to extreme heat.. fast forward 30 minutes we find a roach crawling on the floor. And was hoping our bed could have been made while we were out. I am thankful that there was no bed bugs. This was mine and my husbands one year wedding anniversary and we was planning on staying until Thursday this week. The staff was great but it seemed like the ground floors was a lot Nicer than the top ones. We had fun while it lasted and I never complained about anything but I hope this review helps anyone. If there was an option for a total refund for the room that would be helpful… it would also help if they have put ice buckets for ice which we did not get. As well as pictures needs to be updated to.
Rooms are disgusting, jump in shower when we got out our room was flooded. Ask to be moved to a different room found cock roaches, 3rd and final room the heater did not work. The mattress felt like springs, the whole thing was nasty. I wouldn’t even want my dog to sleep in a place like that. We ended up leaving and the place we went to said they get a lot of people from over there come stay there due to the problems the encounter.
