One thing I'll say about the diners in Jersey is y'all make sure the portion size is well worth the price of the food. I have yet to find a diner that didn't deliver as far as the taste and the customer service. Job well done!
Excellent diner! Amazing and friendly service. The food was delicious and came out very quickly! The classic diner atmosphere was on point and everything was very clean and well maintained. True to form the variety of food was outstanding.
Had breakfast here the other day and I really liked it. Food was very good and came out quick. The service was great. Even the hostess was pleasant. Great atmosphere. I gave them 4 stars because a simple breakfast was a bit expensive. I would go back so yes, you should give them a try.

We have grown tired of diners in this area. The Four Seasons, which is supposed to be the best, has been lackluster for us. The same can be said for Red Bank Diner.
I haven't been to this diner in years, but took my girlfriend to breakfast this morning where we were warmly greeted, immediately seated, and handed menus.
My girlfriend ordered the Western Omelet. It came on a large plate with plenty of home fries. It was a massive portion.
I had the Black Forest burger which was delicious and came with a large plate of steak fries, a pickle and coleslaw.
Food was delicious. Service was great. Everyone is very welcoming here and we plan to be back as often as possible.
Stopped at the Americana diner before doing some shopping and ordered the turkey club triple decker. Turkey was fresh and awesome size of a plate. Had to take some home since they were very gracious with their portions. Sandwich was delicious and highly recommend stopping here for a bite.
We've been eating here for 20-25 years. It's a very nice diner with better than usual diner food. ut age is starting to show on the appearance. This particular time, I ordered takeout at the diner. I'd never ordered takeout there, and their system was confusing, but I finally got someone to put in the order on their system. I noticed later that the ticket had the wrong order. I had to find someone to change it. In the end, everything was great, and we'll always go back to what is a neighborhood favorite. When ordering takeout, double-check your order.
Went there for lunch. It was just nice to get out of the house after 7 straight days of rain! This classic diner did not disappoint. Good coffee. We had lunch, a classic pastrami sandwich and chicken souvlaki (which gem with pita bread, fries and a little salad with real olives and tasty feta cheese.
The prices were reasonable. Lots of easy parking and a ramp for accessibility, though one has to have someone open the door (not automatic). Clean bathrooms.
Our waitress was attentive and very nice, so was the gentleman greeting people at the door. He seemed happy to see everyone who came in.
If you go, look around at the sports, political and other memorabilia. A little museum.
Nasty manager and employee. Ordered shrimp scampi got it over rice pilaf .. am I the only one who knows shrimp scampi is originally based with a type of noodle? I asked to change and was given the upmost nastiest attitude and the roll of neck and eyes from the female runner. Then the manager guy in suit came out and looked at me as if I had 4 eyes. She stated she told me on the phone over rice and I said yes but that was absolutely not true. I ordered a side of chicken and asked once my order was being changed to just put extra shrimp instead because I was not fond of the way the chicken looked .. am I wrong ? For not wanting to pay for something I don't see appealing? I eventually got my order and just left. When I say the shrimp was so wet and soggy I can tell it was once breaded but to put it over scampi was absurd. The sauce was great tasting but I wish I knew to be so specific with my order. I would of never got breaded shrimp with a shrimp scampi. I'm so confused is this normal Ive ate shrimp scampi numerous times in my life and never ever had breaded shrimp UNLESS requested. never have a rice pilaf... I'm 7 months pregnant and so upset again the sauce was good along with the noodles but shrimp was a waste .. still not understanding why put breaded shrimp on a wet dish??? It was completely soggy I had to peel back all the breading ... I was hoping the food would out weigh the attitude I received but no.
