Best WLM Reviews
Great place to eat. The food portions are a bit small, but still yummy. The prices are reasonable and the staff were very friendly.
Waitress was amazing overall, attentive, and quick to refill coffee.
The old warning of "if a restaurant has more than 3 pages, run"... fits.
Chicken croquettes were made to look like the Teton moutains, far from the texture nor flavor.
Lobster bisque, please stop selling whatever corn starch and flower overloaded concoction this is, the poor lobster deserves better. It had either some sort of starchy pasta or clumps of flour and corn starch in every bite. Texture of Gak (that green slime in a can) from the 90's.
The burnout burger, was actually pretty darn good, and would suggest anyone who needs 2000 calories to enjoy it. Those curly fries are so good, I'll suggest the upgrade to anyone.
Coffee was good, the breakfast items are FAR better than most of the other food.
No diner of this locale should feature everything from Asian american through Italian, through breakfast items - the menu needs to be cut in half. I liked some of my food, but this place could be far better with minor tweaks. Overwhelming is an understatement
I’ve had disappointing experiences during my last two visits to this diner. On one occasion, I went with my husband and three small children for an early dinner, and unfortunately, the server was extremely rude and aggressive. Our server seemed very frustrated and was visibly annoyed when I asked for clarification about the specials, which came with both a soup and a salad bar. I have a hearing impairment and was 36 weeks pregnant at the time, so I politely asked her to repeat herself. Her response was unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, to the point where even my children noticed her tone and demeanor.
Hoping the experience was a one-time issue, we decided to give the diner another chance. This time, I asked the hostess if we could avoid being seated in the same server’s section due to the previous incident. Unfortunately, the request seemed to irritate the staff. The hostess gave me a look that felt unkind, and it appeared she mentioned it to another employee, possibly a manager, as we noticed them glancing in our direction. The entire situation made my family feel unwelcome, and we ultimately decided to leave.
It’s disappointing to feel treated this way, especially when visiting as a family. I will not return and will be sharing this experience with others. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way, and sadly, this diner fell short on both occasions.
It’s my go-to when visiting the area. It’s also worth the trip if I’m within 30 miles. No flowery, wordy review here. Good, home cooked comfort food any time of day.
Breakfast all day and the best chicken croquettes just like your Grandma made. The salads are large and fresh with a decent array of dressings. Burgers, Mac and cheese, and homemade soups are excellent. So is the chili. Get the Lobster Bisque at least once. It’s so good!
The portions are hefty (I always need a box) and the taste and quality are consistent. So is the staff. I’ve been enjoying Americana for years now. They’re always happy to see you and the price is right. Breakfast is a must but they have something for everyone. A good walk of this menu is homemade. The desserts are baked by a local baker and the cakes and pies do sell out.
There is better than ample parking. There’s a wait most of the time but especially at breakfast on the weekends. Plan to be early or make sure your pack your patience because Americana Diner is always worth the wait. All those happy, dutiful patrons can’t be wrong. I’m one of them.
This is just a great diner ! Super clean , great food , great service! The owner is so friendly!
Food was good, portions were big, staff very friendly, typical diner.
The salad bar is not very big, but everything was fresh!
This place is great! Food is really good for a diner! The prices are great for how much food you get with your meal! Really don’t ever need to wait that long during the week, the weekend you will though depending on what time you go! The staff is friendly and there is always plenty of parking!
The food was good, price was about average compared to other diners, perhaps slightly higher. There were many menu options to choose from, though. Service was friendly. The decor was pleasant to look at. All in all, it was a nice experience.
