I was actually very surprised at the quality and taste of the food. I had the steak and cheese with everything on it and it was absolutely delicious. The fries were perfect and were not seasoned like most places serve. The staff was cool as well, very professional. Not the ideal place as far as the local atmosphere, but the food makes up for it. I can tell the food was going to be good just by how orders were stacking getting prepared to be picked up by gig drivers. 5 ???? 's
This is now the second time I’ve ordered food from them this week through DoorDash. Both times, my food arrived lukewarm. Both times, I never received napkins, utensils, and the sauce they normally put with their orders. And now, DoorDash has restricted my account because of two complaints I’ve filed against this restaurant through them.
The rice tastes old and as if it’s been left out all day or as if it’s been reheated in the microwave. The house hibachi consists of chicken, shrimp, and steak. The chicken is dry. The shrimp is soggy. The steak is tough and chewy. The vegetables? Way too greasy.
I’m completely disgusted right now. This is now nearly $15 I’ll never get back from DoorDash.
Nastiest lo mein I've ever had. Since when was lo mein a sweet dish??? So gross!!! And their "vegetable egg roll" contains pork.
Additionally - the wings were fried too hard... and I asked for all drums and they sent a mix of drums and flats. Never again in life!
My favorite Chinese spot was closed today. This restaurant was literally 2mins away. The place kinda looks a little dirty from the outside. But this meal was absolutely delicious. I honestly felt like re ordering the same meal right after the last bite. Check them out!
I already dislike ordering through delivery service apps as it is but I took a chance. Man this food was DISGUSTING, not good. I would not recommend. Cold, rice was hard/not fresh, nasty after taste & the tiniest wings I ever seen. They really tried it!
This is supposed to be the hibachi??!!! these arnt even the same vegetables on menu when opened the bag I thought it was noodles and look at the shrimp!!! I understand you get what you pay for but I’ve been to other locations and this buy far was the worst
What I ordered VS what I got. Reviews and pictures are a lie. Very nasty. Now I see why they don’t take phone orders and make the order after you pay. Wouldn’t feed this to my dog
This could have possibly scored a "4" if this place was honest.
From the pictures on the website, you'd expect true fried rice: rice, eggs, on, peas and/or carrots, and onions and/or scallions. What you get is just plain fried rice that you could make at home with old rice and soy sauce.
From the pictures on the website, you'd expect their hibachi chicken to be cut pieces of distinguishable chicken breast. What you do get is that thin smashed looking chicken that ghetto Chinese places use for their Mongolian chicken chow mein.
The price is also less on the website than it is in person.
That being said I will say that the staff was friendly and accommodating. The chicken, while of lesser quality than shown, is well cooked. You also do get a good value for the food you buy.
If this place was just honest with it's website, it would be an easy 3.5. The people make it a 4 despite atmosphere and being good neighbourhood food.
It's not true hibachi, but good neighbourhood food.
