Best WLM Reviews
I read the reviews after I booked a room here, and at first I was terrified because of how everyone had such a bad experience here that I was willing to lose money and book at another place, but I gave it a chance and was wondering where all the bad reviews came from becausw I had such an amazing experience!
The management was super awesome and sweet when I was talking to them, and the process of checking in was pretty quick! All you needed was to fill in a form and pay a 50 dollar deposit. No hassle at all!
The room and amenities were clean, spotless, and I didn't see any bugs that people were mentioning. No stains on the bed, towels, walls, it was very well kept! The bathroom had provided towels, a couple rolls of toilet paper, some hand soap, shampoo, and lotion! For a price of $195.00, it was a pretty decent place to stay. Could have gotten it cheaper if i booked in advanced rather than the day of, but still a good price compared to the other places.
Didn't have or find one thing to complain about, I had all the necessities a regular hotel has (including a fridge, microwave, hair dryer, an iron, and hangers!) and a place to sleep for the night, and at a great price too! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
Rented a room for my sister's family. They said 130 a night then changed it to120 so I was ok like I can do that. I used a debit card they said sorry if you use a debit card are cash we have to charge a 50 dollar deposit. If I use a credit card they wouldn't charge a deposit. They Said as long as the room was clean I would get my deposit back. Well there was no smoke detector in the room but didn't tell them about. It was raining outside and cold didn't want to go outside again, but I guess I should have done it anyway. So the next day they said we took it and said they could only give me 25 of my deposit back. The ice machine didn't work, the TV didn't work, no ice bucket, the room was dirty, no coffee maker and you had to slam the door to lock it. Had a note in the office saying if you don't turn in the key by 11am they charge another day but there was no one in the office at 10:30 had to give the key to the cleaning lady. She was the one who said we took the fire detector and charged me for it. She didn't speak much English either. I would give zero stars if I could. They are a very shady business and I would stear clear of this hotel.
Despite calling and speaking with the manager 2 days prior to arriving and making a reservation when I arrived, she claimed she didn't remember our conversation and had no room for me. She continued this lie even though I could show her my call log to her business number and the duration of our call. Her voice with Indian accent was distinct, so I was sure I was talking with the same person on the phone. She brings shame on her family and doesn't deserve my business or yours.
American Travel Inn provides fast WiFi for any research work or mobile gaming as well as being within walking distance of several great downtown Pullman restaurants. I was greeted by Mandeep at check in which was a breeze through booking.com. She went above and beyond in her accommodations to me as a guest and at the lowest rate I have found in Pullman in 2024. I recommend booking your rooms here if you want an affordable room in the downtown Pullman area.
My husband and I have a small business that requires him to travel around and work in a different city every week. Sometimes when life allows, I will drive to wherever he is staying and join him for a night or two. We have been doing this for 18 years. Until this hotel we have never been charged extra for me to stay a night or two in his room with him and it was a double bed room! They charged me over $20 per night to stay with my husband. I came Tuesday afternoon, went to work with him on Wednesday, and then left to go home when he went to work on Thursday morning, before 7am. When my husband got back to this hotel Thursday after work he could tell someone had been in the room and he noticed the extra key that had been given to me was missing. Just a complete invasion of privacy! This hotel made me to feel like I was an escort or something, and I have been married to this man for 22 years! He was planning on returning the key after work and to let the office know I had left. I would have done it myself the morning I left, but my husband wanted to take care of it for me. And no one said we needed to do this anyway so neither of us was too worried about it, especially since no one was going to be in the room all day. The room smelled really bad as well. It smelled really old and dirty and had a very heavy weed odor. The carpet was dirty and had stains everywhere. The beds were old and really uncomfortable. I think it goes without saying, but he will NEVER book a room in this hotel ever again. Super gross hotel!! And it’s in a really sketchy part of town. Please do yourself a favor and find a different hotel to stay in!
I did have a nice day working with my husband on Wednesday for the City of Pullman! This is such a great city and one of our favorites to work for!!
The room stunk like cigarette smoke. For the ridiculous price I paid for the room, I expected much nicer accommodations. Had a few uninvited guests, too. The friendly staff was about the only positive of my stay.
I can't emphasize enough to stay away from this place. I'm from Pullman and my daughter and I needed a safe place to stay. We stayed here. It was traumatized. My daughter reserved the room in her name with all her information. I came later. Apparently I was not on the information list come to find out. My daughter had to work the next morning and I didn't and chose to stay until check out. Housekeeping came in at 9:30 am. Did not knock, just came in. The housekeeper was argumentative and downright abusive telling me to leave. I had to get upset and ask her to leave the room. When I called the front desk to explain the situation, I was met with the same abuse. I gathered my things in 5 minutes from being so traumatized from the situation and tried to get in my vehicle to leave to find two workers taking pictures with their phones upon my exit. Later I realized I was in such a hurry to leave, I left my wallet with my whole life inside on the nightstand. That night the theft on all my cards began into two days. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
Gonna give this a middle of the road when it comes to rooms. Very basic, no coffee. Very friendly owners or managers though. Great location and 7 minutes away from the football stadium
