Such a great ride! The owners/ranch hands clearly care about what they do and offer an amazing experience for riders. I've gone to a ton of ranches and this was the first one that offers a TRUE horseback experience. No nose to tail and the guides allow the horses to walk side by side which is super cool and fun. I wish I could ride here all the time! We are from NYC and loved every second of our experience here. Thank you!
We had Danny as our guide, and had the best experience ever! Totally worth the drive. The ranch is like nothing I ever seen before, lots of cute details and good organization. Easy to navigate, very family friendly. The horses are well taken care of and great for all experience levels. Our guide gave us a great tour and view of the property. I was really surprised how calm and relaxed the horse were navigating the terrain, not easily spooked. I loved the idea we were able to ride side by side vs single file. If you go visit ask for Danny to be your guide, you’ll have the best experience!!
Had the best experience here! Our guide, Giselle, was amazing! She made us all feel comfortable with our horses, gave great tips, and was so fun to get to know. They really prioritize an authentic riding experience here which we appreciated so much. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area!
Great riding experience - our guide Kale was amazingly helpful for our first time riders and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. The horses are beautiful and very well taken care of. The views are amazing and the drive to get there was awesome. I highly recommend booking with them. We booked the 2 hour and could have ridden all day through the aspens.
I just had the absolute best experience at American Safari Ranch. The staff, the guide, the herd, the ride…it was all unbelievably brilliant. Do not miss this affordable and spectacular opportunity. Unlike the usual trail rides and they honestly care deeply for their herd. Very refreshing. I’m so glad I made the time to ride. Thank you Safari Ranch!!
This is the best place to just ride, horses dont follow each other on a trail like we do in NJ. They teach you the basics and you are completely in control of your horse. Great for kids 8 years old, great for a mom who has ridden a horse twice before. Staff is amazing, well trained and knowledgeable.
Best horseback riding experience I’ve ever had. We did a personal tour and Patrick (Houston) was our guide, and he is so knowledgeable and you can tell he is very passionate about horses. The horses here live a really good life you can tell they really care and take care of them. We went on another horseback ride the day before in Breck and it is nothing to compare to how amazing this ranch is. Much more authentic. Highly recommend and cool story of a business that has been around a long time
American Safari Ranch was amazing. I did a 2 hour private ride with Giselle (I might’ve misspelled her name) and she was so informative and helpful on my ride. I would do this over and over again!
