Debbie at American River Café is a gem! We stopped in for breakfast and were blown away by the amazing French toast—easily the best we’ve ever had. Had breakfast here on July 18th. I had the avocado toast, minus salmon and sour cream, added bacon. My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Portions were good, food was decent. I would definitely try this place again. We had great service as well.
The food and service was great! We also got the fish and chips which was great as well!
We ate at American River Café for lunch today and the service from Debbie was exceptional, food tasted great and ambience was really nice with the stream in the background.
Really liked that they kept our coffee warm when I was trying to keep up with our four year old and five year old kids. Food was Tasty tasty tasty!

We had a very nice lunch. The clam chowder was very tasty. The wonton soup was huge and delicious, the broth was not salty.

Only complaint was that I didn't like the hashbrowns either day. Both days so far, my omelet was great.

Debbea is great to have, she is wonderful and gives good advice on what to get. The food was also great, got the Lazy Mans Fried Chicken- it was crispy but still has a juicy meat to bite into.
