Never received a bill for the $21.53 I owe. You’ve already sent me to collections, so why in the world would I pay you now? You randomly select reviews to reply to stating it’s not your fault, but there are hundreds of radiology practices that manage to bill their patients properly. Shame on you for not figuring out your business practice. FYI your debt collector’s “demand for payment” looks like a shitty scam anyway.
Horrible customer service in the billing department. This is all due to a mis-coding on ARA's billing side. This company outsources overseas and I spent 1hour and 30 minutes on the phone with 3 different customer service agents. I requested repeatedly to speak with a representative on the US mainland, but they stalled.
Another review related to a collections notification in the mail with no awareness that this group even exists or that a balance was owed. Seems like thats standard operating procedure for this group to come out of the woodwork to get paid. Super frustrating no one made me aware that Id owe money to this group given that I already paid the clinic on site the day of my apt
Never received a bill, but got a collections notice for $439.00. I would have paid it had I received just a regular old bill. Not paying this.
I went to Texas Neurology and they made me pay for an MRI and then did the MRI there at their office. Now I am getting billed by American Radiology. I have no idea who they are and it's not a small amount of money. I tried calling them but they don't seem to have anybody to talk to. That's one way to scam you. They probably partner with businesses on the back end to get more money for them and their shady partners.
Working with my attorney now. Never sent a bill, but sent me to collections. The “debt” is $16. Called “American Radiology Consultants” and they have no reason for why I never received an original invoice, just urged me to pay whatever was on the collection letter. If you get something from them I would personally assume it’s fraud. Also—do not comment “we can’t help you because of HIPAA”, you can’t help me because you’re trying to run a scam.
Long story short everyone go search for me on KVUE that’s affiliated with abc news out in Austin Tx. I’ve made news headlines with ARA cause they kept billing me the thousands instead of Medicaid for months for imaging my baby had done when he was in the NICU. It took ARA about 2 business days to act with Medicaid and me. I started receiving phone calls from Medicaid within 2 days after going viral that they got the 9 accounts ARA created down by $6,000 in one day. And they are diligently still working together to get the remainder balances (in the thousands) down. It is amazing how when reaching out to the news channels it can make magic happen!
This facility should be investigated! Apparently they refuse to file with my insurance (or maybe they did). I should not have received a bill, since I have full coverage. I was sent a bill anyway. I was told to disregard, however, I few weeks later, I receive a letter from their collections agency!!!! Countless hours being put on hold trying to protect my good credit, they kept wanting my insurance information (which I will not give over the phone, since they already have it). Nobody wanted to take responsibility for not filing it through the insurance either do to carelessness/laziness. However they were quick to blame it on a computer glitch. Yeah, whatever! I would hope that their goal was not double payment. Long story short. It was taken out of collections after I threatened to unleash my lawyer on them....That should have been the end of it. However, I just received the same bill in the mail !!!! Due date in 20 days! Then it will be sent to collections again! Like ground hog day!! Hopefully it will not lead to a class action lawsuit! TO BE CONTINUED...
