We had been here before but I heard that the Canoe Bar was sporting some cool new drinks and really wanted to stop back here to play a little and try one of the restaurants.
The bartender caught me taking pictures and said it was ok - she even struck a pose! We had a few people hanging out and we were able to try multiple drinks - responsibly! - since we shared them! I have to be honest... I didn't want to share most of them. The flavors jumped out even more than the visual presentation! I can't say the last time - if ever - I have had drinks with layers of flavors like these. Simply Amazing. We were told that there will be fresh drink menus changing with the seasons - I am looking forward to the next set!
If you haven't been to American Place Casino yet, why not?!? Get a Player's Card - they have perks for players - AND drawings for active players! The staff that we interacted with were very friendly, answered questions and made us feel like they appreciated us being there. Some people remember what customer service means - many of those people must work here!
That meal was incredible.
we order fried rice , spring rolls and guacamole chips. And also for dessert Green Tea Ice cream is so good. Love it my favorite. The server name Alicia was a good server .

Alicia was a great server! Explained the menu, and made sure everything was up to our expectations. She recommended the Josh Wine, to go alone our New York Strip steak! Overall, 11/10 experience, by far exceeded my customer service expectations. Aaron W, made sure we were well taken care of as well. Can’t write a review without a chefs kiss, Mr. Evan Salazar did an amazing job making sure the steak was at a perfect temperature to be served as “Medium Rare”. 5/5 stars to the kitchen staff. Will be back, and I suggest many stop by and try that New York Steak!
Really like this casino thanks to the good video poker selection. Brittany at the Canoe bar was particularly helpful in guiding me among the expanded craft beer choices. I personally liked the new selection! Hope to be back sooner than later

Want to take the time to also recognize Sandy, who’s a slot service attendant. We always have the pleasure of running into her, she’s always greeting my husband and I. She has also recommended for us to try the food. Which we had a great experience at Asia-Azteca. My husband and I call her our good luck charm! Sandy is for sure one of our favorite employees at American Place Casino. Definitely will be back to play some more.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at American Palace, thanks to the incredible service provided by Timothy and Joey. Timothy, the manager, is a true professional who clearly takes pride in ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued. His attention to detail and ability to handle every aspect of the operation with such ease and positivity left a lasting impression.
Joey, the bartender, is equally exceptional. Her mixology skills are top-notch, crafting some of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Beyond that, Joey’s personable and attentive approach made the bar feel like the heart of the place. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time, with perfect drink recommendations and a warm demeanor that put everyone at ease.
Timothy and Joey make a phenomenal team, and their efforts elevate the entire experience at American Palace. I’ll definitely be back soon, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding service and hospitality!
Elle is the players club was extremely helpful. Casino is very clean and the slots paid well. Would definitely stop in this establishment again if in Chicago. Davina and Sparkle in the steakhouse were amazing. All the employees were awesome. Food was great.
