I have been coming here for around 7 months now, since I moved to Duncanville and I love this nail salon. They always do such good job on my nails. I don’t have a favorite nail artist because they are all great. They are wonderful people, such sweet service. This is the first nail salon in my entire 30yr life who has ever gifted their customers a gift (tumblr) for the holidays!!! Thank you guys!!!
I recently visited American Nail Salon, and I was very pleased with my experience! Sue was so sweet and meticulous, ensuring every detail was perfect. Ivy was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me and my husband laugh and smile from the moment we arrived. Henry checked in on us regularly, making sure we had everything we needed, and Ryan greeted us with such energy and enthusiasm that it instantly made us feel like we were where we needed to be. The entire team made our visit memorable and enjoyable. I am very pleased with the service and will definitely be back soon! Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch nail care in a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
The nail tech My was AMAZING! I’ve never had anyone so thorough work on my nails before. She was amazing and I will be coming back specifically for her! The gentleman at the front desk was extremely polite as well! I’ve never had a bad experience when coming to this salon. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I got my eyebrows arched and I was cut and have a bruise on my eye. In my 15 years of getting waxed I've never been cut. Not to mention the time I went to get my toes done. The nail tech shouldn't be doing nails. She didn't know what she was doing. Paint on my nails toes not cut down. It was a complete mess. I was able to get my toes redone but some of the employees shouldn't be doing certain services.
I came in to have my toes and hands done for my cousins weddin. I’d like to start by saying the tech who did my toe nails was amazing she did a wonderful job I love them! But the tech who did my nails was in a bad mood. I asked for a full set square black French. I noticed two of my nails were crooked from when they glue the tip so she was trying to shape to correct them. I asked if she can fix them and she said it will mess up the shape because she will have to file them down more making it shorter than the rest. I told her well can you find a resolution she then gets upset stands up and tells everyone I told her I didn’t want her to do my nails. I looked at her so confused because I never thought she’d react like that after asking to have a nail fixed. I told her I only wanted her to fix the two crooked nails and she starts to aggressively grab my hand and cut all my nails and leaves. I am then told someone’s coming to do a soap off. Which left me confused because she only had to fix two nails. I had planned enough time to get my nails and toes done same time and didn’t have enough time to redo my hands. I got my hands soaked off and was charged for it too. $95 to be exact but money was never a issue and I did not even bother to argue with the front. And a fyi i was neither aggressive nor argumentative with the staff i am very mellowed and silent person. since i had my iPad and was fully immerse on enjoying my experience and to have it end like this was very sad. I didn’t ask for a soak off nor did I ask her for her to cut all my nails off she only needed to fix two nails. Very disappointing since I really loved my toes.

I called the nail salon in response to the message here. They said they would take care of me and they sure did. My nails look amazing... Amber is SO attentive. She's the best... and Mimi?!... she uses tools I've never seen before to give the best pedicures ever. The service was so good. The young guy at the front kept the drinks coming. I just love it... super relaxing. I'm glad I came back!

I had a totally amazing experience with Amber & Mimi the first time I visited here in May... but when I came back, it was so bad.. I don't think it could have been any worse.
The first time I came here, it was amazing. Every single person took care of me so well. My nails and feet looked so good for almost a month.
However, when I returned, I tried to get an appt with the same people, but they happened to be sick that day. So, I trusted the lady at the front to get me whoever was available. I wanted ombre nails and a deluxe pedicure.
Pedicure - The tech used a coarse file on my toes, so it actually took off some of the skin on several toes. I didn't say anything about it until acetone touched my feet.. then, I tried to explain the pain and what happened. Later on, she went to give me a paraffin wax, and the wax was so hot that it literally burned me. This has never happened in my entire life. It was so hot that it burned after she took the bag off my feet. She had to wipe the wax off. She tried again. The same thing happened, so I said.. that's ok.. just forget the wax. She didn't communicate with me at all.. when she was done, she just walked away. She didn't put my shoes on, or say thank you.. or ask if the it was pretty or anything... just walked away.
Nails --
I asked for dipped nails. The tech started using acrylic. When I should him the photo and mentioned that I wanted dip, he said acrylic was better. So, I trusted him. It was supposed to be a natural pink going into a light grey. He used hot pink. As soon as I saw it, I mentioned the color I wanted again and I showed the photo. He then showed me all these powders. I told him I don't know the exact powder to use, bit please make it look like the photo. It took trial and error and help from the lady at the front desk, but he finally got the color right, and I thanked him... but it was a messy job. He didn't buff away the extra acrylic from under my nails, and I had dried acrylic around my cuticles and on the pads of my fingers.
Payment --
The cost was like $102. The manager and I had communicated several times about the mishaps.. the wax.. the acrylic color... the temperament of the pedi tech... and it was still $102... even in the middle of the week... but I said ok and paid...
Final Product -- ... then, I got in my car and turned my nails toward me to look at them, and they were soooo thick. The tips looked like someone had cut some thick plastic. It was horrible, so I walked back in there ans showed the manager at the front desk. As soo as she saw it, she said they were too thick. She took me to a station on the side, and she fixed the nails herself.
All in all, this experience was horrible. I still gave it 3 stars because the lady at the front fixed my nails.. and the first time I came, it was completely amazing.. but I never want that experience again in life. My toes hurt for 2 days after that... and to think... I paid over $100 to have a non-relaxing, painful experience??
If I ever return, and Amber and Mimi aren't available (or clearly, Christine.. based on everyone's reviews), then I will walk out.
Christine is amazing ????!!! She gives the best pedicures and neck massages.. the establishment is clean, not crowded, and has amazing drink menu and customer service. You haven't been treated right until you come here. Ms. Christine made me get off my phone to enjoy the experience. I appreciate that. Thanks yall!!! Edit 7/18/24 Christine is still here taking better care of me than the initial time I had her... she is all I need up here! ❤️
