Candice Thomas is very professional and caring. The Athena medical patient portal is a fast and convenient way to review your doctor visit, see your prescriptions, and upcoming appointments. Overall a clean facility with caring staff.
Went in at 7:15 today there was about 10 people in the lobby. We waited maybe 10 mins, the nurses for Delong were so amazing. Asked a lot of questions about my son’s symptoms, made us feel very comfortable. After doing the bp and heart rate we waited about 5 mins and then the dr came in. Very knowledgeable and helpful with my baby. The gentleman nurse (pink scrubs today)that did the testing for flu & covid was so sweet to my son and explained everything he was going to do (my son asks tons of questions and he was so patient and answered them all). Amazing clinic, and forgot to mention the two ladies at check in today (didnt catch anyones name obviously lol) were so sweet and worked so quickly to get us in! We appreciated them so much! Best experience by far especially on such a hectic day for myself and child who was throwing up non stop! ❤️ TY so much from a stressed out momma!
Excellent care. Had blood work done he was really great and I don't like needles so he was very very gentle. Needed a medication refilled and it was done quickly. Thank you all.
I have been going here most of my life so it's hard to give a bad review however I visited Dr Garcias I have a rather serious illness and from the start I told the nurse first and then the doctor they seemed to not understand what I was saying somehow it turned into me having insomnia. Eventually he somewhat understood what I was saying no labs , referrals he only refilled one rx , an inhaler ,after having me send proof that I had been prescribed it prior. Not any of the medical records and after all of that he miscoded it so my insurance wouldn't cover it! So totally useless visit.
Because of a chronic blood disorder, I have blood drawn every 3 months, year after year. The phlebotomists at the LabCorp in American Medical are top notch.
Called the number provided before I drove 45 min and was transferred to an answering service that said they are open till 7, just not accepting calls after 5.
Showed up at 6:30PM and the Drs had already left even though business hours state 7pm. Front desk just said nothing she can do as they probably won’t be back.
I have been using American Medical group for several years. Even during the COVID-19 Pandemic the patients were taken care of at what I considered to be a reasonable pace. The staff has always been courteous and efficient. I would give the clinic 10 out of 10 if I were given the opportunity. Thank you, AMG!!
