Best WLM Reviews

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in, in my entire life. It was clear that the sheets had not been changed after the last visitor. There was visible dirt and/or stains on the pillowcases top sheet and bottom sheet. The shower looked disgusting. There was one small lamp in the room, several electric outlets did not work, it was hard to get the door to lock, and the room smelled like mold or mildew, and old cigarette smoke. We slept on top of the coverlet fully dressed and did not use the pillows. The towels and washclothes felt crunchy and also had stains on them. One bed squeaked every time you changed your position. If every other hotel in a 40 mi radius was not already booked we would not have stayed. This hotel really had little to no redeeming qualities. The toilet worked and was relatively clean. That would be the only good thing I can say.
I was really enjoying coming here but eventually after a while I started to get some of the bad rooms I guess. And they have raised their prices, which for a place like that shouldn’t happen. Their most basic room is upwards of $90. It’s better to just go to the Wyndham right beside it for that price. Some of them have nice updated showers for the same price as the old ones, which is good but I feel like you just never know what you’re gonna get. I’ve killed a couple bugs here to be honest. The last time I went the room was 90$ and none of the rooms have microwaves and I can’t tell you the number of times the tv wasn’t working. The jacuzzi room was okay, the design was decent for it but it didn’t have an updated shower like some of the other rooms. The jacuzzi itself was okay. I don’t think it goes through a deep scrub and clean, I think they just wipe it down. I ran the water three-four times before I could get it completely clean. The customer service at the front desk wasn’t too bad. I feel like I see a different person every time. And this manager will not do any kind of refunds whatsoever. I think that’s about it.
A good place to play and enjoy the hot tube rooms. They should mount the mirrors on the ceilings. Put a large eye bolt in the ceiling and well have a local version of the red room. Too bad Hidden Trails did away with their themed rooms.
Downstairs rooms are updated and look nice; non-smoking room that didn’t smell like smoke. Very clean too. The hot breakfast had a variety and was delicious. Better than I expected.
Only criticism being the random patron asking if I had weed.
For the money the room is decent. The afternoon/evening desk woman is the bomb. They no longer have the breakfast bar which sucks. I would rather use their laundry service then go to the coin laundry down the road. Here they wash/dry/fold your laundry.
This is a no frills motel but it is clean and quiet.
The hotel itself is not the best. The sheets felt like burlap and the bathroom especially was very dirty. It was cheap and I accidentally left luggage there. I called them a couple hours after checkout when I realized and they held everything no problem for 2 days until I could come back and nothing was missing. The staff is amazing and it's cheap but they really need to take care of the rooms better.
Was looking for somewhere to stay that didn't require an astronomical deposit. Called them and they accepted both cash and credit. Room was OK. Was dated and needed repairs. Bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was nice. Except for in the morning I tried to kill 2 roaches!! They provide free breakfast, which looked decent, but we left and didn't trust the food with the roaches in our room being right over the office/breakfast area.
Don't think we'll stay there again.
Sadly this hotel is the stuff of nightmares. It has the looks and feel of a horror movie. The rooms all smell like smoking rooms. The floor is sticky, keep your shoes on. Holes in the walls. You cannot take the continental breakfast back to your room, you have to eat it in front of the staff. The food itself is really really bad. You cannot get extra towels for showering until the cleaning staff arrives which is around the same time as checkout. This is in every sense of the word a dive. If I had it to do over we would have stayed in the car and slept at a rest stop. The clerk was the only redeeming quality of a hotel that I'm confident would be shut down if the health department inspected it. Never again
