Best WLM Reviews

Hotel is old and in need of updates. Our room did have a new sink and vanity as well as shower head and faucet. However, he toilet is only about 2 feet tall. Great for a midget. The first night there were very few towels in the room. The second day they brought more. Room was clean though. The hallway does stink. Very musty and stale. Room itself was fine after we turned the air on. No sprinklers in room which I think are required now but Im not sure on that. Breakfast is advertised but there isnt any. For the price its fine but will stay elsewhere next time
Hallways and office area are not air conditioned. No breakfast or pool even though website advertises this. Room was clean, but bedspread had cigarette burn even though it was a non smoking room? Beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Would not recommend and I’ve stayed here before. I don’t remember it being like this before.
Entire hotel hand a funky smell. Check-in and halls not air-conditioned. Very, very dated. Beds hard and so uncomfortable. Refrigerator and microwave unplugged. We had to plug them in. Only 1 towel and wash cloth even though we had booked the room for 2. Will not stay here again.
The indoor pool is closed "for the winter", sign on the breakfast room says "5:30 - 9:30 - NO EXCEPTIONS" but was never there. The television did not work right, the door pass keys failed 3 out of 4 times, lighting did not work correctly. We did get two beds/1 room for $100 a night!
It was a very nice room, clean and tidy. Carpet was in very good shape, bedspread and sheets were very nice.
It's the little things that were missing. The shower head and water pressure was very good but, couldn't take bath because there was no plug. The desk chair needs to be tightened, it was a little wabbly. No clock and there were 2 plug ins on one side of bed and none on the other.
We would definitely stay here again. Parking is convenient, prices very fair and restraunt attached was nice. Pool and exercise room was nice.
Kinda rundown. This is an Independent, not part of Wyndham Motels.
The refrigerator had been removed from this particular room as a refrigerator was needed elsewhere. When I checked in late Friday night, the motel looked only 1/4 - 1/3 full ; I was given this room anyway. I've kept my items that needed cooling in a trash bucket filled with ice.
There are only one washer , one dryer. The dryer does not heat well. I had to run my clothes a second time to get them dry.
Manager and staff are very friendly, very helpful.
Bedding was dirty or stained with something that looked like grease. Wash cloth dirty or stained, didn't notice until we got it wet. Pillow case dirty with huge black spot where someone had sat on it or held against something nasty. We didn't catch any of this until we were ready for bed and had a very full day the next day. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Didn't serve breakfast as they advertise. Very over priced for the condition of our room. Absolutely will not evstay again. I took pictures of these items.
The Good: Location is good, convenient to Hwy 30, appears to be a safe area, more than ample restaurants close, exterior of building looks fine, but appears to be an older-style hotel building, not quite a motel look, but close, can leave the fan on overnight to provide white noise.||||The Bad: This is a budget hotel, I had to walk back to the front desk twice after check in to get new card keys, room was very dated, bare, and was showing wear in many ways, old school heat/AC unit beneath window, breakfast was just above bare bones.||||Overview: Stayed here on business in May, 2017. Lobby was quite small, enough room for the counter and a single couch. Not a very welcoming room. Check in was fine, but the card keys did not work, not once, but twice after they re-coded them. Had to come back to the front desk a third time to get new cards. The room itself was quite dated. Didn't appear as though anything was refreshed anytime recently. There was a lower-end flat screen TV with cable, but that was about the only upgrade. I didn't notice anything overly dirty, but was nowhere near top notch hygenic. Bathroom counter was worn, old school bath fixtures, just a few standard white towels, weird bathroom with just a toilet and bath/shower. I just wasn't overly impressed with the room. However, I did get a good night sleep as the bed seemed to be comfortable to me, plus I was able to generate white noise overnight with the fan of the AC unit.||||Breakfast was a choice of two cereals, some bananas, mini-muffins and mini-cinnamon rolls still in their store bought package, a waffle iron, and juice/coffee. There was yogurt in the fridge, but I didn't note anything else. Relatively small, darker breakfast area.||||So overall, not a horrible place, but in severe need for an update. Like I said in the title, you get what you pay for, yet I feel like I probably paid about $10 per night too much.
