Best WLM Reviews
Its cheap. The good thing is no roaches or bugs to report. Its good for a stopover but it feels dirty although effort to improve it is obvious. I would rather be dirty than use the tub even to shower. The sitting chair is dirty. I travel with my own blanket. I wouldn't walk barefoot on the floor although you can't see the dirt. We were taken to two rooms - one with TV missing and one that smelled like bowel - before getting a descent one. It needs far, far more TLC. Its tough. The more expensive hotels to me are overpriced for a short stay. This is overpriced for the quality. The outside is great though. Its very nice having a walkout option instead of enclosed in a building. The grounds are kept nice except a lot of geese stopped by leaving poop. Parking is good. There is a gas station and convenience store next door The housekeeper was very nice and showed concern to make us comfortable. If the rooms were better kept it would be great for kids/families. I would never stay here alone.
The room was not clean. Hair in tub the smell was awful. Whoever was there left their walker. I do believe someone died in there. If I wasn't in desperate need I would have left. But that's what you get for $80.00. SMH in the cut
It's out of the way and that allows a few businesses to monopolize the area and price gouge you.. What I mean by that is $5.79 for a bag of ice???? But if you can be savvy and having a knowledge of the area. The seclusion is worth it.
The front desk is beyond sweet even housekeeping! I absolutely loved it. It’s so quiet and peaceful to be honest.. Yes, there is a highway close by but it was never unbearable. I never felt unsafe either. There’s nothing close by but a quick 8 minute drive, you’ll find a lot. I will stay and also recommend this place. I have no idea how people left a bad review, I was hesitant at first but not disappointed
The carpet was wet, stunk like mold, ac barely worked, the room was dirty and they were way overpriced. Trash left in the drawers and the TV was messed up. Lots of motels in the area cheaper and nicer! You just have to look
Front door was bent! Smelly! Moldy! Stained carpet! Moldy curtains! Microwave broke and smelled like fire once plugged! Lamps old and shaky every time we turn it on! Mirror had black crap all over it. Bathroom peeled paint all over & dirty floor! No coffee maker and no iron! Piles of trash outside! We saw a roach and a few ants! Jetted bath tub was a JOKE! It was dirty! It appear that floor tiles was holding up the tub. There was so much black crap on the ceiling above the tub and on the opposite walls. We were suppose to stay for two days, however, we could not sleep and left about 4 o'clock in the morning. They can keep the money for the extra day that we did not stay. We arrived with our own sheets and comforter but the bed was so uncomfortable. I could literally feel the spring digging in my side. I NEED TO REPORT THESE PEOPLE!!!! I don't know how they sleep at night. They should pay people to sleep at that TRASHY hotel!!!!
Pulling up I thought it was gonna be just a run down motel but I was wrong. The rooms need some updating for sure. Holes in walls, slightly dirty, fridge was broken, but the bed was comfortable. Price was just right. Staff hardly looked you in the eye and weren't all that friendly. But I got what I came for.
I give this place one star because it's not possible to give them zero Stars because they certainly don't deserve any stars. This is the worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure of staying in. It is a wretchedly disgusting roach-infested druggie hangout. None of the amenities advertised are accurate. I've been driving past that nasty swamp of his swimming pool 4 4 years and I've never seen it open once. Most of the rooms have maintenance issues. Everything from broken TVs and broken ACS 2 holes in the wall and ceiling. Other guests told us they don't clean the rooms in between gas and I overheard the staff talking about not washing the blankets. This hotel is mostly occupied by homeless drug addicts who can't afford a real place to live. It is so roach-infested that cockroach actually crawled across my pillow while I was laying on it. I absolutely do not understand how they are legally allowed to operate that place with the shape it's in
