Best WLM Reviews

I reserved online. check in was easy. Friendly staff. The room smelled heavily deodorized. Sheets were blazing white and no signs of bed bugs. Furniture has seen better days. Walls around vanity had been poorly patched and painted over. No hairdryer but the holder was still mounted to the wall. Bathtub had scrapes that made it look dirty. But for $59 for a place to put my head overnight. It was fine. My room did have an adjoining door to the next room. when I checked my door, it was unlocked! That means the people in the next room could have walked into my room in the middle of the night! I could hear yappy dogs and car and room doors closing and voices. It quieted down about 11pm.
This was the worst motel I have ever stayed in. We recently started staying at Motel 6 because they do not charge for dogs and many of them are being updated and are fairly nice. That was not the case with this one. It should have been a clue when we pulled in the parking lot and there were no other cars. Another clue was when I went to check in they wouldn’t even let me in the lobby. They just opened a small window to slide me my key. The area was extremely sketchy and we did not feel safe at all due to the fact that they couldn’t even have the lobby open at 3 in the afternoon. Someone asked my husband for a dollar when he was walking the dogs. The room itself was very dated and in disrepair. You could see daylight through the side of the door. Neither of us slept because we felt so uneasy. In the morning my husband wouldn’t even shower because he had been up all night worrying and just wanted to get out. Overall it was just a terrible experience. The only bright spot was the pizza place across the street where we got take out. It was excellent.
Oh my goodness. Please, if you have a family, please stay somewhere else. This is not a safe place to stay. I travel 8 months out of the year. Worst motel I’ve crossed paths in years! Not even wasting my time writing a review on the room. I was there for 20 minutes max before I went back to office to checkout. Not a safe place to be!
Room was not terrible, but the AC sounded like a freight train. Toiletries, well you get a couple of bars of soap. They do have towels and washcloths, but they are far from luxurious they're more like level three towels and washcloths with very little weight to them. Broom seems to be somewhat clean, but there is Plaster missing from the roof, in the tub looks like it's from 1978. The room smells fine it has a flat screen TV and two pillows per bed. The beds aren't particularly hard, they are decent. All in all, it's a Motel 6, and you get what you pay for.
‼️Please read until end to understand rating‼️The nights that I have been here the rooms were decent. The tub could be in better conditions and updated chairs inside the room, but other than that it’s fine. Haven’t had trouble with bugs or dirty bedding. BUT my main problem is their house keeper. I believe there’s more than one so I’ll tell you that she is the African American lady. The past times I’ve stayed there including today, she’s been what I would call rude. She knocks to let us know who she is but the proceeds to use her key to unlock our door to come in, good thing we had the other lock hooked because my boyfriend and I weren’t quite decent for anybody to be coming in. After she sort of saw that she closes the door then yells “Are y’all staying another night or leaving?” I replied, “We are Leaving!” She then tells us to hurry up and get dressed. Check out time is at 11am, it was going on 10:40 so we still had time to get ourselves together and leave. Now, other hotel I have been to have waited for the guest to leave before doing all of that or if they did knock they would stay OUT and ask questions then proceed to other rooms upon the answer. This is my second or third time dealing with this lady and I’ve let her pass the past times but this time I will not. She needs to learn about respecting privacy and giving people time to get themselves together. I understand she wants to do her job and get it over with but you’re coming around well before 11am disturbing people’s time together.
3 stars is probably generous but they had a room when the other motels were full. The room was clean and the bed was nice but the outlet in the bathroom didn't work and the shower curtain rod was falling off the wall meaning the shower curtain didn't really work either.
Wasn't the cleanest. It was a last minute stop. Bath room door kept getting stuck and tub had cracks in it. Got a room for 4 but only had 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. Had to provide own hygiene items(no shampoo/conditioner/body soap.) Fridge wasn't cold. Beds were big enough for 2 but not for much room to get comfortable enough. Had to leave TV on all night to drown out another room.
However the clerk was very kind and we got some rest.
Had no choice but to stop at this location. Creepy location. You pay for what you get. Although the room and bathroom was clean, it was enough time to sleep and get out if there as quickly as humanly possible. There was no breakfast like most Motel 6 has, but at least I had my 6 hour sleep and kept on moving.
