My experience with the nurses and technicians at the Intermountain American Fork hospital after delivery was truly exceptional. From the moment I was wheeled into recovery they went above and beyond to ensure I and my new family felt cared for, comfortable, and supported. The nurses were attentive and compassionate, always checking in to see if I needed anything, whether it was pain management, or any concerns that I had.
The technicians were equally amazing—efficient, kind, and respectful. Their teamwork with the nursing staff was seamless, creating an environment where I felt safe and well taken care of during such an important time.
What stood out the most was the warmth and empathy of everyone I interacted with. Their professionalism and kindness helped me focus on bonding with my baby, knowing I was in great hands. I’m so grateful for their hard work and dedication, and I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone. They made a challenging recovery feel manageable. Thank you!
This is such a great hospital and the employees are really great! My first son was born at this hospital and we had a really great experience. I’ve visited a lot of family members at this hospital and it’s easy to navigate. I’m grateful to have a professional and quality hospital nearby my house. I like all of the new signage that you recently put up. 5 stars in my book!
I had a total hip replacement. I was fairly anxious about the whole procedure, but needlessly so! It could not have been a more caring, professional and positive experience.
From the nurses, doctors, physical therapists to the many helpful employees their understanding, patience and outstanding care made my surgery and recovery go flawlessly!
Took my wife to the ER last night with severe abdominal pain and aggressive nausea and vomiting. After a few scans, labs and meds we were discharged with the sentiment “nothing is wrong with her, maybe go meet with your pcp”. They sent us home with pain and nausea meds, both of which they knew she wouldn’t be able to keep down, and wished us the best. I asked if we could have something to help her sleep and was told that would be unethical since her condition wasn’t related to sleeping. The nurses throughout the visit were insanely unhelpful and had horrible response times. Multiple times we asked for things like a wheel chair or a heated blanket and did not see them for 30 plus minutes. I work in healthcare and understand that some things can take time but this was unacceptable. If you’re looking for quality care I would highly suggest intermountain but not American fork hospital. Horrible facility with apathetic employees.
I was admitted to the ER and ICU for postpartum preeclampsia with hypertension crisis and acute heart failure. I’m so incredibly thankful for the staff at both the ER and ICU! Not only did they save my life, but I received such wonderful care. I’m truly thankful, humbled, and forever grateful.
The staff at AF hospital are great. They have always been very friendly and professional whenever I have to visit. However, Intermountain Health commits legal thievery on a daily basis and there’s nothing any of us can do about it. $1800 (after insurance) for something completely out of my control, for something that’s been keeping me out of work. I honestly wish I had never even bothered trying to get help. If you come here, prepare to have a large sum of your hard-earned money stolen. With the kind of profits they’re making (I know they’re a “non-profit” but who are we kidding here—they own an insurance company too), they should be able to pay their poor staff more.
I had an exceptional experience at American Fork Hospital for my surgery( double mastectomy).
The hospital itself is not only clean and well-maintained, but it also offers stunning views that helped create a calming atmosphere. The staff members were incredibly knowledgeable and competent, and their excellent bedside manners made me feel comfortable and cared for.
The anesthesiologist was particularly outstanding. He took the time to talk to me and ensure that I was feeling okay before the surgery. His friendly nature made me feel at ease, and I was surprised at how quickly he put me to sleep before surgery.
The level of care I received from the entire team was outstanding. I must mention the night nurse, Jake, who went above and beyond to provide exceptional care. He was so quiet and gentle that I didn't even wake up when he checked on me and changed my IV. His dedication and attentiveness were truly remarkable.
I would also like to express my gratitude towards Dr. Tittensor, Dr. Jensen, and their entire team. They are truly amazing in their respective fields, and I have full confidence in their abilities.
Also very thankful for taking care of me , nurse Mara , Jordyn , Kristina , and I believe it was Veronica.
Food is also great , felt like I’m in restaurant.
Based on my wonderful experience, I have already scheduled my final surgery at American Fork Hospital in January. I highly recommend this hospital for anyone seeking expert care in a friendly and comfortable environment.
I this might be the best hospital!! Had my first baby here a couple days ago and I had so much support. I had two nurses while I was in labor Aubrey and Kylie! They were amazing Aubrey made me feel cared for and supported! And Kylie did the same, she was there for the majority of my labor and really eased me through everything. I know they made it the experience it was. I'm so greatful to them! Even the anesthesiologistwas very supportive of when I got my epidural and spoke me throught the whole thing. I felt like my labor experience was 10 out of 10 because of these people and my amazing doctor! I felt like no one was making me feel pressured to do anything and that everyone was comforting me through the fear I was also having. When I went to the second floor after labor. I had a great night nurse named Josey, she really helped through all the questions and confusion. I think the only thing would be is that on the second floor. When you call for your nurse to come in, it feels like it takes a long time. and some of the nursers aren't as friendly. but my husband and I only stayed a day on the floor and went home! still loved everything about being there though! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
