Clean rooms, amazing staff, and a reasonable owner. Not much else you can ask for with this kind of hotel.
You just have to understand, it is next to a main road. Road has a lot of through traffic, and some won't be quiet vehicles. It's coal country, and some of them truckers love riding their jakes.
All of that aside, it's a nice hotel. Just try to have something for white noise to help tune out trucks.
The only decently priced place I could find. You can also do it weekly for a flat rate of 425$, what it was when I stayed. Compared to 975$ at the Hilton Hampton Inn. But you do with what you pay for. Some sketchy.l characters linger around the property. But the room was pretty clean and comfortable enough for my intended use, shower eat snd sleep. I’d bring cleaning wile and your own blankets. And there are a few planes to eat within walking distance.
Not a bad little hotel. Staff is exceptional and kind, rooms are clean. Not one issue in a couple months of staying there for work.
Not a 4 or 5 star hotel, but it is the cleanest more comfortable on the cheaper end hotels we've stayed at. Our first room was definitely better than our second stay. There are only 2 things that could've made out stay better: 1, they could put coffee makers in the rooms, but at least there is a fridge and microwave and according to my hubby the coffee served downstairs in the morning is weak ( could be just him liking too strong of coffee) and 2, not only are the Jacuzzis not working, neither of the rooms we stayed in had a working bath tub. The shower worked great, pressure was nice and the water was hot, just couldn't get the stopper to work to the tub. I'm the type who loves to soak in a nice hot tub ( why I was excited they had Jacuzzis, then disappointed they were not working).
We just needed somewhere to stay for a couple of days at a time while working on a home we just bought. So this hotel was very conveniently located, and all the staff we've met are super friendly. This is our second stay and we would recommend to anyone who needed a room for a night or two.
Came down for 4 nights while visiting
the off road park a few miles away. The staff is not only friendly but very personable. All our needs wore met with no questions. This isn't a new a hotel it shows it's age at places and that is the only reason 4 instead of 5 on the room. My wife and I travel a lot and stay in all types of lodging. From cozy cabins to luxury hotels. This hotel will meet your needs while not breaking the budget. Location is convenient to 15 &80. Definitely recommend, for basic stays.
I spent 4 nights at American Elite with other family members. The Inn is clean and quiet. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The wifi is strong and comes with roku tv. The staff is friendly and truly treat you like their guests. I will definitely be a repeat guest in the future.
There was nothing Elite about the hotel. The beds were made nice the area inside my room was clean we were give ¹ bath cloth and ¹ towel I wouldn't choose this hotel by choice. It was here or Whitesburg Kentucky. So I took my chances.THE PEOPLE WERE NICE. My reservations were mixed up at The Holiday Inn for 1 night.
Under the new management, we would recommend staying here anytime! They were revamping the whole place. Our room was super clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels/motels around.
