This was a wonder experience from start to finish. The woman making my appointment she was so pleasant and so helpful to get me in right away. I was extremely anxious the young lady that did all my x-rays and talked with me had me so calm before the dentist walked and it was wonderful. Dr. Runkle was amazing. He took the time to explain everything to me all the choices that I had and help me make a few decisions. This office is absolutely amazing
I hold the two hygienists (Jody and Kristy) in high regard. If I were reviewing them alone I would give them 5 stars. The issue is that I have to rate this office, which includes their billing department, namely Leo. This guy refused to verify what my dental insurance covered before charging me $172.00 for a treatment I received. I came to find out that my insurance covered 80% of this treatment and now I have to fight back for a reimbursement. How many other customers have this office ripped off by forcing them to pay out of pocket versus initially submitting the claim to their providers?
From the moment I walked into the facility to the moment I left there were nothing but positive feedback every were .
Even when some of the news I was given was the best, it was done with a tactfulness that was completely understandable, all questions were answer completely to my satisfaction.
I've still got other visits with different department so I can't speak for everything, but this first experience gets an A++.
I’m so glad I found this place as they are fixing problems I have been complaining about for decades. The staff is awesome and the dentist I am seeing is compassionate, gentle, and patient with me. The pricing is more than fair with my insurance.

July the 3rd I scheduled an appointment to have my front teeth looked at concerning cosmetic work I was thinking about having. The gentleman that looked at my teeth was a African American (no problem with that). I told him it was cosmetic work I was looking for my 2 front teeth and it would be nice if insurance could pay for it as money was not available for it. He looked and took X-ray of them. I was told that I had a condition that causes you nerves in your teeth to never stop growing and it could cause problems in the future. Teeth could break, chip teeth, wear away resulting in possible infection. Then he proceeded to inform me of choices. One was to pull my teeth and get a bridge, implants, or just to leave it is as is because it was possible that nothing happens, ever. The out of pocket money was still more then I had to pay so none of it happened.
Fast forward to September..
I am in need of a shoulder replacement and the dentist must sign off that I have nothing wrong with my teeth (infection, gum disease so on) I delivered the form and the next day I get a text from the office saying they will not sign off and that I need my teeth pulled first. I called the office and went around with the front desk, getting madder by the minute. Ended up talking to the dentist. Got pissed at him too. I asked why if it was MY decision to get my teeth pulled or not then why do I need them pulled now? I was told because they found this problem and he was not signing off for the surgery. I said "so you are forcing me to have my teeth pulled in order to get the surgery" ( basically covering his ...at this point) the answer was no, just that he was not signing off. Sounds like he was. Then I said "I was just in there a month or so ago. If they were that bad why didn't you tell me then when you cleaned my teeth?" Somewhere along the line I spoke of the African American man that had looked at me. The dentist said he was the only one that ever looked at me and that they have no African American person working there. At this writing that is true. However I know something he thinks that I don't know. Dentists used services that provide short term fill ins for themselves when they are short on personal, go on vacation, have an emergency. So the African American man I saw was an employee that is now gone or the man was a fill in. The dentist just kept saying we have no African Americans that work there and he was the only one that ever saw me. So not only are they refusing to sign off on my operation unless I have my teeth pulled they are saying I am nuts and that this person did not exist. After a few very ugly words from me I called the Doctor a liar and hung up on him.
I contacted my insurance company to report the business as they take Medicare supplement insurance. I must now find another dentist. My husband and I are both done with them.
I feel if they didn't wish to engage with me because of the the my real reason was cosmetic and then the insurance, they should have just said no we can't do it like that. This problem would not had happened and he would have just signed off. Maybe it was bad of me for trying to get it done this way, but they were willing to dance for the money. If I have to take this to Medicare direct I will.
Looking for a new dentist.
The Doctor was easy to understand he was patient and?
Explain everything to me slowly. And if I had questions he answered them as I needed them too I would recommend. Yes, yes, because he is one of the.
Most honest men men I know as a dentist and would tell you what you need done I'll be going back to Dr. Runkle And the front desk was friendly as well
Not only did they get me in as a new patient on the same day, they were so very kind!! Very grateful and thankful to the staff and Doc for their wonderful response to my very painful toothache!!
This place is an absolute joke! I paid $2500 for dentures, and they got rid of them without any warning. They should have definitely given me a warning! I am going to lawyer up and come after this place!
