this location is a STRONG NO! I usually go to the Wilkinson location, but I was closer to this one today. First it’s a funny smell in there, not food wise but like a weird aroma. My wings tasted like they were fried last week & served to me today. I got what I ALWAYS get, hot with lemon pepper sprinkle, wings weren’t hot at all. When I go to the Wilkinson location my food is good. I ended up throwing all my food away after a couple of bites
I have been going here for years, and real talk, i will continue. The cooks are soooo good, the Ladies at the register are always cool and do their best. It's appreciated.. ???????????? Bless Up
Customer service was great, young lady behind the counter was very friendly. I got the Philly and wing combo, food was just ok for me. Wings real tiny and the sandwich was decent. Didn’t really like the garlic parm sauce on my wings, I think would be better if was a dry rub. All in all I’d go back because they have other items I’d try.
The best AD in the city! You can visit the others, but when you want your food to be great; get it here!!!
Wings are always crispy and don’t be surprised if you get some that’s just so little it’s not even a chicken wing. Overall flavor for wings are great! I also got the fried rice with it which was ok. The rice was very oily and buttery and I believe the portion is just a little to big but on the plus side you will have some for the next day. If in area I may visit this location again!
I've been eating here for awhile. Basically get the same thing everytime, a #4 combo. The problem is, like many other places, they have cut way back on the amount of meat they put on the sandwich. They kind of ball it up so it looks like more than it is. However, spread it out and it barely covers the bread!!!! They try to distract you by throwing a bunch of fries in the container..Don't fall for it..
2 stars - atmosphere. It’s HOT! Need a/c or fans for customers waiting inside the establishment. Went in dry/clean. After 30min wait was drenched. Still operating as if Covid restrictions are in place (minus masks). Take out only. If side parking is full, you’ll need to navigate the “obstacle course” because Craters in parking lot will damage your vehicle. Keep your eyes open.
FOOD always GOOD & piping hot. Fries always on point. Love the lemon pepper HOT wings and the chicken Philly is decent. ZERO COMPLAINTS on the food. This is actually the BEST location in Charlotte. Food never disappoints.
3 stars for customer service - we waited over 30mins for FRIES! 3stars- because of their inability to comprehend & use logic and because they MIGHT not answer the phone. Tried calling 4x - kept getting a recording voice mail full, we arrived before they answered the phone. Young man didn’t want to allow me to purchase extra dipping sauce because they didn’t have “condiment” cups available. Keep in mind, I Did not ask for FREE ; it took an act of congress to get him to understand use a small container or a cup. I do not want the cup filled to rim or even half way, I just want sauce for dipping. Just wanted to PURCHASE the sauce and pay for the cup (IF mgmt is counting cups)????????♀️ ended up paying $2 for sauce and cup after 10mins of providing them with suggestions (whew exhausted).
Otherwise, food is great! Just call ahead and whatever you do - don’t ask any questions.
I ordered my food online. Advised the guy at the first, I'm picking up a order. I was told it would be a 5min wait.. i ended up waiting 15mins when I got there. I ordered the LG salad with extra meat ($3) and onions.... my salad doesn't reflect extra meat, I had a salad with a lot of lettuces, meat and cheese. The remaining topping was under the mountain of lettuces .... whats the point of ordering online if you still have to wait
