As a native from New Jersey, I had a taste for corned beef today.
I stopped by this location of American Deli and found what I was looking for!
Gabby was the person working today during my visit at 1:00 p.m.
She was very friendly and gave great customer service.
My food was of course made fresh and quick .
It was delicious!
I ordered the philly & wings combo. The flavors were good. Three stars for the fact that the counter is enclosed in bullet proof glass (Which makes it hard to see the menu) and the language barrier makes it difficult to order. There’s no access to condiments or drinks (other locations have full access). I wouldn’t go back simply because I didn’t feel welcomed or comfortable. A shame because the food is pretty good.
The food was once so good here! 10 piece wing combo with fries and a drink. The past few times I’ve gone here in maybe the last two years or so the food is terrible. The wings are abnormally small. Makes me wonder if it’s even real chicken? The wings used to be standard regular size now they are TINY. They used to provide a few celery sticks with your combo meal. Now they take one small piece of a celery and cut it into a few pieces each maybe an inch. Way overpriced for the food. I thought the past times were isolate incidents of getting small wings by chance but now I know better and I will not be returning.
The fries are meh. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak. Typically, other locations and wing places will use white American cheese, but this location uses provolone cheese. It doesn’t even melt well AT ALL. It’s too thick. It’s giving mozzarella sticks on a sandwich. I don’t mind melted cheese, but stiff and layered??? No ma’am! The cheese is literally holding this sandwich together ????There was a paper at the order window stating what came on a Philly but they CLEARLY didn’t have cheese (let alone provolone) on that list. My drink had too much ice and my peach lemonade mix seemed a bit watered down. Prefer the Moreland Ave. location.
Well, the food was good but i would not come here for wings.
This is one of the best American deli in georgia if you ask me . There wings still are the ????. The atmosphere is really nice and the service is impeccable.
Update: I was desperate one day and gave them another try, and they were much better! Almost back to the old recipes. Give ‘em another try.
This used to be the best American Deli. The food was always on point. Now that they’re under new management, the food sucks. I’ve given them a few chances, but I’ve been disappointed every time. The old people must have taken their recipes/cooks with them.
My experience here was not good at all they charge you 75 cents for some yum yum sauce that suppose to come with the fried rice and they charge you 2$ and 90 cents for a large cup of ice it's just ridiculous do not go to this American deli no wonder they have 3.1
